I must say the "My family is in incredible danger but I'm not going to say anything and just hope it works out" trope is played out for me.

As is the "I'm going to try and vaguely warn someone about something and they will just blow me off" trope.

Not a deal breaker. But when you find out Tris is working at that club I just had to laugh.

Emma rebuked him telling him that was not the case and Loved him for him and not his money. That's a game changer in my book and only ingratiates me more to pursue that relationship to its furthest extent. It has been awhile since I've played the game, if I have made mistakes forgive my poor memory.

I liked this too, it was completely unexpected, but I think that's because the MC's thoughts made me just assume the same - that Emma was only with me/him for the money (or at least that the money was a major factor in it).

So how do we, as the user fix this? What line in the code needs to be edited. There are so many bad variants in the writing and the code in this game it's insane. The way it stops auto-forward every time there's a picture with no text. The removal of the quick menu so you can't even USE auto-forward without a script thanks to the button not being down there. Every other line having to annotate something obvious that didn't need to be illustrated through text. (*thinking*, *moaning*, *whispering*, *over the phone*, etc.) This, as I said earlier, ruins text-to-speech.

I know how to circumvent at least two of these annoyances, but all of this is quite frankly, asshole design. Like the developer's trying to force you to manually advance the text yourself and not use auto-advance. Read it yourself and not use text-to-speech. And for what? Their idea of obligatory immersion?
