It was a huge letdown to me.. maybe just the first scene with Emma was more "genuine" femdom.

Generally, that is correct - the game is very much based on explicit consent, so anyone into forced femdom won't find a ton. As you get further into the game there are a few more scenes where the LI takes the lead, but they are definitely taking the lead in exploring the MCs expressed kinks. There is some hints of reluctance in a couple of Emma scenes where you can choose between the option of "reluctantly" doing a thing, eagerly doing a thing, or not doing a thing at all.

The only exception might be a couple of scenes where the MC is chatting with a woman on the game's version of Reddit, she is into findom and forced censorship and is the only one who seems to be more interested in her kinks than yours, but it is still very much consensual.

Fair, consent may have been the wrong way to frame it. I understand what you are talking about when it feels almost exposition heavy on describing the fetishes and how they make the MC feel. From that perspective, I think the game does improve as you go along.

I didn't necessarily meant 'forced', it's just that when I explored those paths in one of the earlier versions basically all the hot scenes that interested my path were.. boring, unexciting.. because there wasn't a "spontaneous building up" where for example the dominating party recognise the willingness of the other and push him\her down that path in her own terms.

It's difficult to explain (and remember) but was something like this:

At Kim's house
MC: I know hat you are doing and who you are..
Kim: yeah, but why you are here then?
MC: cause I know why you are like that (..bla la explanation on her kinks?!)
Kim: ok..so?
MC: I also like (..bla bla explanation on kinks of the MC..) and I'd like you to do (..explanation by the MC (!?) on what he would like her to do..)
Kim: oh, ok.. (..scene where she does like the MC said..) :|

What should have happened instead: Kim obviously recognize the interest in her and bit by bit charms the MC the way a character like her should charm the MC.

Now.. I'm willing to try it out again cause maybe it's not all like that, but since you seems to know the game: given the premises above, is it worth it in your opinion?
PS: and I'm losing my time writing all this cause I'd consider this game a gem.. if not by... that kind of things ruining it.

I would say yes. I definitely get the criticism and I think it is pretty valid - but I do think it is much improved in later interactions, across the board but especially with Emma. It does feel like the writing of those scenes has gotten crisper.

That combined with the breadth of fetishes explored, which is unrivaled by pretty much any other game I have played (though always happy to hear other recommendations) and the lack of good femdom content in general makes this one a must play in my opinion.

If you are not sure about it though, download it and try out the paths game mode, which lets you just see the content of a specific path. It will cause story spoilers, but if you are not going to play it otherwise it will give you a nice peak of what the content looks like later on quickly, and it is not like this is a thriller with a lot of twists and turns that will ruin the story for you.

I've not yet completed all the proofreading/edits of the Ch7 pt2 text (although I am 80-90% done) and MrSL has confirmed he doesn't need it yet.

Hahaha, I know exactly what you mean - really well crafted but I am pretty sure you aren't really exclusive with any of them except Lea and you make a specific choice to either be exclusive or not. It is hard to have to disappoint her in that conversation, but I suspect she would be more disappointed to learn you were cheating after promising to be exclusive. So not really cheating, even though it feels like it if you attach to one of the LIs more than the others.

The game itself has had improving quality, additional functionality and the addition of animations even back to previous chapters.

Out of all the developers of indie adult games, MrSL has proven himself to be one of the best. The game content might not be for everyone, but those of us who like this sort of intelligent and sexy gameplay REALLY love it.

That was true - barring the last 2. Do correct me on the dates, but didn't the first half of 7 come out sometime this spring? And it was extremely short compared to past updates; basically just the start of that dinner party. So that's nearly ~14 months without significant gameplay addition.

Don't get me wrong I think he does great work, we just need MOAR!

I think another thing that worries me too is not just the focus, but the content, the last chapter felt like a letdown to me, my fav path Emma's sub path felt bad compared to her dom. Other routes feel a little weird. This game dropped from a top 5 or 10 for to middle of my avn rankings. So I am worried about not only SilverLust's focus on the game, but also the story and where it is heading.
