I really liked this game. Good story with dark undertones, great models and women with beautiful and realistic bodies, flawless animations, good visuals, well written dialogues, and a nice MC with potential for character development.
Bacia la mano, Don Silk_Ari.

Kiss your hand, Don Silk_Ari.
Somehow I think he is going to be the nicest capo you ever met.

Very nice game. Initially started with Jane but just had to go back and do Angela. For Christ's sake, who can resist the Montagues and Capulets? Don't know what the result of failing Eco will be -- but, hell! (I know, even if one starts with Jane, it looks like one may pick up with Angela going forward.)
Good renders, writing is nice, plot is funny as hell (e.g. Paulie and Sal are Sonny; Vincent is Michael, etc.) Ma fa! You think I'm some stunad? (Actually, I would have used "Coglione" but, as Mama used to say: "Sausage 'iz owne" --- pure New York bastardization of the language!)
The only problem I have is, looking at the comments from the Dev team, it's points based. Of course, like so many of these VNs, one is not allowed to view the points! Kinda like bowling when someone has stretched a sheet across the pins with just enough room to fit the ball under. Really guys? LOL!
Anyway, gonna stay on this one, I think.

The Mary scene was interesting it looks as though she is needing that much-needed attention I hope we give it to her at some point. Another good update Julia and Barbara are good inclusions to an already very good female cast.

Don't know about that. I picked both drugs and protection and am just waiting for the game to allow me to get mean. "No more mister nice guy" I'd say and bang some heads together  :devilish:

I think that a great feature of this game will be the predicate one establishes with that initial choice. Very much like the "Paragon/Renegade" paths in the "Mass Effect" series, which lead to really quite different games. One assumes Vincent's journey to becoming Capo di tutti capi will be quite different depending upon that decision. I think it will add to the playability (sic) of the game, as one may go back and replay a different route.
Personally, I've chosen the more "gentle" route -- but hey, have fun bashing heads. It's a game and what gives you the best time is what it's all about! "Sausage his own" as I've said earlier (pronounced sawzeege 'iz owne, it's an old New York Italian-American phrase I learned from my Mother, meaning "To each his own".). :)

Minigames don't belong in a visual novel. They detract from, and interfere with, the storytelling. Developers of porn "games" need to choose whether they're primarily making a game (which you play), or writing a story (which you read).
I disagree. Having brief interludes between reading can really energise you to continue. My eyes tend to glaze over after endless paragraphs of dry text.
That said, fuck anything that involves timing. But anything else? Why not? VNs are pseudo-puzzle games anyway with you trying to deduce best outcomes, so why not test the players's skills in other ways? Especially since it gives a winstate that doesn't nag on you like choices do.

It's not a Kinetic Novel.

I heartily agree. Something needs to be done to break up the walls of text. And fuck any dev with a sharpened spoon that puts timed or QTE in their games. Last thing I want is to be reading a bunch of text and then have a timed minigame appear that I fail. I'd love it if someone did a proper murder mystery, a long noir game would be interesting.

Does Depraved Awakening count or am I wrong?

Depraved Awakening doesn't really have much of an investigation to it.. I want to inspect rooms, find clues, etc. That was a great VN but it was light on the actual investigation in private investigation.

Obviously Oath of Loyalty, being a mafia game, won't have that type of gameplay but I hope we get to make decisions as to how we "rule" after Frank dies (I'm assuming he dies but could be wrong). I'm curious to see how this game will evolve and grow since right now we are very much in the introduction still. While I am interested in seeing how the relationships develop I am also curious as to how linear the overall story will be.
