Even so as much as I like the game, I will only play my preferred route once, and thats it, shelve the game, when I can no longer remember I will play again, and possibly go down my EXACT same route.... Devs that think the game or a single girl are worth an entire play through are kidding themselves...

Its shit like this that is killing the Japanese Eroge market, and its only sustained by sad lonely Otakus... people want more than one hot chick per route usually... That doesnt mean they want a single route, you can have multiple ones, but even Eroges are now including a harem route in most games.

Again I mean harem route, not harem end... do I like Harem endings ? yes, are they always realistic and good for every game ? no... Harem route to me simply means the MC can "hopefully" fuck all the girls before he has to make a choice... I mean in Real Life its super rare for some guy or girl to fuck only the person and marry them, we all have multiple people before settling on the "one".

The only two games where I played through every single LI route was DA and TOML. Even though I already had a best girl in mind I still wanted to see how the other endings went, was it time consuming? Very, but I enjoyed it. I'm probably gonna do the same thing for FF because I enjoy the characters, but I can't say that I'd do the same for other games. I like what Cheeky is doing by adding poly relationships to his endings.

As far as this game goes I've watched a lot of Italian mob flicks and shows, from Casino, Goodfellas and Godfather to The Sopranos. And the reoccurring theme for those was that Italian mobsters love to get their dicks wet, it just as simple that. Hell, Tony Soprano practically fucked half of Jersey but never in any of those flick was it a bright idea to form a harem lol. The point I'm trying to make is if Oath of Loyalty is gonna have that authentic feel to it then shit like harems CAN"T exist because that stuff is frowned upon. Old Italian mob bosses perferred you were a "family man". So the Dev is doing it justice but not adding that tag, he even denounced it early on.

Actual full harem games with a story are practically impossible to pull off within the bounds of reason, so why anyone would have such expectations of any VN which doesn't explicitly state it's harem is a mystery.

I think if I could take back my posts and just post a single one it would be this. I could include a Harem route which then would make characters personalities obsolete. To believe that every character would just go along with an orgy other than they been mystically brainwashed is just stupid beyond reason. Its partly a reason why I sdislike games which try to have a coherent story and then all characters just suddenly stop acting like themselves and just go along with anything.

I think it was a nice touch allowing the mc to confide in his mom, I'm assuming in the mob emotions are void so getting a woman's perspective every now and then may benefit him in the long run. As far as the harem debate goes I'm glad it's not a harem type game, not every game has to end in that fashion.

Anyone who thought this was a harem game just because there are a few easy fucks is delusional. Almost every non-harem, story driven VN I play lets you screw all and sundry at the start and narrows your choices later, which is presumably what will happen in OoL.

To be frank I would have expected proper lewd scenes by now, but the characters and story are engaging enough to maintain my interest. Fortunately I'm a very patient fellow...

Just to clarify my comment about that game, as I specifically said in my message I was referring to people who actually justify the lack of sex putting forward arguments along the lines of "the story wouldn't make sense", "this is not a fuckfest, this is more complex than other games", etc. I get it if anyone enjoys the story for what it is but at the same time feels that it's high time there was some sex, as seems to be your case. As far as porn games are concerned, good writing includes finding a way to provide meaningful sexual content from the beginning or almost the beginning and ensuring it makes sense, and that's where I think Philly excels at.

I agree with MrFriendly that the game shouldn't probably force us to have a relationship with Jane. I don't like it either when we are forced to become cheaters if we want to see sex content with other characters.
The scene with Daniela is quite different though. They were both high and drunk so I get it was a device to offer some more sexual content without us having to feel guilty. Besides, we can decide how to approach it afterwards during our convo with Sofia and with our choice to reject the 3some.
As for the rest, so far any other relationship seems to be avoidable, including Angela's path. So yeah, the only issue I see is Jane being forced upon us.

It doesn't make sense to the story or the characters so that dev would have to ruin their own work to fit in something that shouldn't be there.

Solving crime over a given scale can't be done by disposal of the peoples active in it, as quite a part of business would rely on bad money various scales, not dismissing the peoples (middle and end types) who to are living using bad money.
Then, drug is a poison type as users are looking for more, meaning someone will get on. Base businessmen practice..

Pretty bald move there w aunt dev(i mean if something like this has happened to mom, i would be first to complain since i am mostly ''mommy boy '') . The dev doesn't add the tags at the top of the page. Do you even really need harem to enjoy a game? You can still fuck plenty of girls in the game but you'll likely only end up with one. The game is fantastic so you'd be passing up on a real good game which is going to 100% get even better.
