Monthly Update - Update Update Edition

Another month passes by, which means it's time for the tried and true monthly update! The previous update was last week, so this post will be a pretty short one. As mentioned in the last update, Offcuts 0.4 release date is scheduled to be around November 26th, give or take a few days. I'm also planning to start posting some more content as the release date draws closer so we'll hopefully get a good routine going after this long break.
In other news, the whole Unity3D drama has somewhat calmed down as the company made some adjustments to their licensing terms after some heavy community backlash. Still, it's a bad omen and the situation is probably not going to get much better in the future. As I'm planning to shift into full real-time 3D at some point, it's not an engine I would choose right now. I'll share more of this once it becomes relevant after 0.4 is released.
As always, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until 0.4 is out (I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then).

So, TL;DR:
* Next release 0.4 will have Alice's full storyline.
* Some new tech in 0.4: interactive 3D and pre-rendered movies, at least a few of each. When I get the pipeline (and my skills) working smoothly, next releases should have more.
* After 0.4 I will try out a bit faster release schedule with partial updates instead of releasing large, complete routes that take ages to finish. We'll see how it goes.
* Steam release at some point after 0.4 is out. Steam has been pretty random with adult games, so who knows what can happen.
