The thing with Rebel Moon is it has it's good and it's bad.

The good - giant space vagina's that starships travel through.

The bad - everything else.

With such a close call it really tore me about whether to go to the movies to watch the 3rd or break down and cry that he even had the gall to make a third and then pretend none of them exist like i've done with a lot of films the past few years.

At least Deadpool and Wolverine can sooth my soul.

Pretending they don't exist is healthier for your mind. It's how I've dealt with all the Resident Evil films bar the CG ones.

August 18th is the 5th Anniversary of Offcuts v.0.3's release. How are you guys going to celebrate? Will Stencil FINALLY release 0.4 with the Alice route? (Nope! Chuck Testa!) What will his excuse be this time? All I know is disappointment.

New

Another month, another update! The health saga with my eyesight has been the main topic for a while, and there's finally some good news! As I mentioned in the previous update post, I finally had a minor medical operation to fix the issues in my left eye. The operation went well, and after a few weeks, it's now pretty safe to say that the most dangerous eye-pressure issue is now healing. I still need plenty of eye-drops and pauses when reading or writing, but if things improve at this rate, I'm probably going to be back in action sooner rather than later. After the operation, I was on sick leave from work for a week to give both eyes some rest and healing, and now I can use both eyes again without the eye patch. There's still some wobbliness, focusing issues and tiredness but the treatment has been working great after a slow start. I can again read and write using both eyes, previously it was nearly impossible. There might be some minor permanent damage in my left eye, but hopefully it should not be anything too serious.
Other than that, there's not much new. Still, I'm pretty excited as I can again do simple things like reading without struggling. I pretty much had to drop most of my hobbies and activities just so I could barely manage things at work, as focusing my eyesight became increasingly hard. Really made me appreciate things more that I previously took for granted. If things go well, expect more good news in the next update, or even before it. Releasing Offcuts 0.4 is on top of my priority list once my eyes are in good enough shape again, which is hopefully soon. What comes after that is still open, but hopefully Offcuts 0.5 (or a new project I have been thinking about) instead of my retirement.
As always, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until Offcuts 0.4 is out (I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then). Thanks for your endless patience!"

Released 3 days early for members.

New

Time flies and another month passes by, so it's time for the good, old monthly update! Most previous posts for a while now have been about my struggles with my eyesight and this post is no different. However, there are some good news. As mentioned in previous update, my eye operation went pretty well and things have been improving ever since. My left eye still gets tired and dry from straining it too much, but it's pretty close to normal now. It's probably never going to be as good as it used to be, but at least I didn't lose the whole eye, so this is a relatively good result to me. I have already started to read again as a hobby, although only physical books, as staring at a monitor still gives my eyes a hard time if done too long. I can also do my day job again without any eye-patch trickery, which is good as it's pretty much 100% staring at a computer screen all day. Some eyedrops with quick pauses and I often barely notice the issue anymore.
If things don't regress, this means it's soon time to dig out the Offcuts 0.4 from the depths of my hard drive and do a release once I manage to give it a final read-through and maybe some tweaks. So, hopefully expect more good news in the next update of even before it. With any luck, I can also continue fleshing out some new ideas I have been thinking of during this long, long pause. One of my options was to retire after releasing Offcuts 0.4 if my eyesight issues persisted, but it looks like I might not have to, at least for now.
As always, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until Offcuts 0.4 is out (I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then). Thanks for your endless patience!

Literally right after the other sentence. Which is it!? Looking at a screen gives his eyes a hard time but working for (lets say a normal 8 hour workday) 8 hours STARING AT A SCREEN doesn't do shit!

Selective eye problems for the win.

Then in the very next fucking sentence: Some eyedrops with quick pauses and I often barely notice the issue anymore.

Then use the fucking drops and proofread the fucking script!

This guy is so fucking confused about all the shit he has spewed forth that he has no fucking clue what he is saying anymore. All the lies are now blending together.

There's procrastination and there's straight up lying. At this point there is no reason to believe 4.0 even exists in any form. They were supposed to upload 4.0 like 3 years ago after a vacation on the moon or some shit but forgot or whatever.

Five years almost going on six. What do they gain from these monthly updates at this point.

I kinda want to go onto his patreon and call him out for 5 years of excuses.

But that would also mean giving him money.

And I don't want to.
Funny thing is I have been a "Patreon" of his for like 4 years now, it hasn't cost me a penny because he cancels the donations every month.

Even when he finally releases the update, it is only going be like $1, so its definitely worth the gamble. Don't you think he deserves the like $0.60 he collects after Patreon takes their cut, the fees, and taxes for stringing us along for like 5+ years.

The chance of him collecting of $1 from you is the same percentage of you winning roulette at a casino, which is like 1:38 or 2.6% chance.

Yeah, but the casino always wins, so I'm not taking on those odds.

The Patreon is apparently Stencilbits own personal echo chamber and blogspace. Chances are he'd either delete the comment, or the one or two simps still signed up and posting on his comments would berate you.

No, Stencilbits doesn't deserve anything other than the ridicule he gets here and elsewhere.

He would get $.60 assuming he had a game, but he doesn't because next month somebody will break into his apartment and steal his computer, further interrupting those nearly 5 years worth of proofreading and final testing. He'll go on for months on a quest to locate it making sure to keep us all up to date with every step, eventually finding it was hocked. Then it'll take him another 5 years to get everything put back together on his desk again and then another 5 years to locate the assets that are sure to also have gone missing.

folks im thinking this will never drop another update...

You know what I am confused about? The elaborately written monthly updates. Why? If I was stencilbits, I'd have gone awol by end of year 1.
