I don't know what game you were playing, but this dev has not been active since early 2019. Posting dogshit nobody reads to a patreon nobody cares about for 5 years doesn't count as anything active.

There's still completed stories for a few of the girls. So if someone focused on those paths, they can see a start to finish. As for the next "update", it's supposed to be for Alice's complete story which has been in limbo for five years.

Another month, another excuse. The Eye saga has ended for now, so I need to make up something for it. I'm rereading my material to make sure there are no typos or autocorewreck errors. Game is almost done, I just need to give it another pass, again...
As always I've disabled my Patreon so no one is billed by my scam... until I release 0.4... which is kinda counterproductive since I've had it sitting on my hard drive for so long thar it has become a semi soft drive. Someday I'll release it and then, I'll be moving to the third dimension as I discovered Honey Select 2 and reboot Offcuts in HS2. Anyways, I gotta make like titties... (stupid autocorrect) and bounce before my eye goes bad again! Toodaloo!

Version 0.4 was flagged as AI-generated, and when Stencilbits looked into it, he found that all his files on his hard drive have been replaced with AI nonsense. Sorry folks, the next update will be another month at least, while he gets Chat-GPT to unedit his files.

Another month, another monthly update! The previous updates have mostly been about my eyesight issues, but after the operation that has been slowly getting better. There's still some dryness and occasional blurred vision, but nothing too serious anymore. As I also already mentioned, I have been slowly getting back to reading and even started working on any old pending issues I still had about Offcuts 0.4. If nothing too serious happens, I should hopefully be able to push Offcuts 0.4 out this year once I get a good opening in my schedule. Any continuation after that is still a bit open, it depends on how well my eyesight recovers. The situation is pretty good, but I still get some eye strain if I have to focus too much or too long, for example when reading and writing. And as my day job (and by extension livelihood) already requires a lot of screen staring, I have been pretty cautious with my hobbies for now to avoid any possibly permanent damage.
Still, it would be a shame to drop this hobby, especially after all this struggle. When I started to reread the old script, it reminded me of how fun it can be to create something like this. So, I'll try to keep going if I can, there have been plenty of ideas, plans and protos I have been working on at least on theoretical level during this long pause. Offcuts 0.4 is a guaranteed release at some point as it is mostly ready, anything after that is still a bit in the air. Hopefully, I can get fully get back to my hobbies (including writing) soon. I discussed this already a bit in the previous update post, but it's still difficult to plan any major roadmaps for now. With any luck, things keep improving even more. Just a few months ago, I was almost certain I would lose sight in one of my eyes completely, but now I might get very close to my old eyesight without any major permanent issues. Fingers crossed.
As always, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until Offcuts 0.4 is out (I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then). Thanks for your endless patience!

Well, guess we'll be riding the excuse train all the way to 2025... I wish I could say I'm disappointed, but with Stencilbutts is par for the course.
I haven't been keeping too much details about what is happening but are we sure the person making the post is the creator? Could it be that someone got control of the patreon and that why there is a 4year stall without shutting it down?

Halloween is here, but Offcuts 0.4 is not. I... swear... I'm... almost... done! With the update. I just need to give it the good ol' once over and proofread before I can FINALLY release it. I still need some rest, because I poop toomuch, then I get tired! And sometimes I lie down to rest my eye and my whole body rests with it. I'm avoiding the usage of the eyepatch to rest my eye, because it makes me look like a pirate and with Halloween so close, I'd go out trick or treating and that would be counterproductive for my patrons.
As always I will not take any patreon money until I release 0.4 and manage expectations. Afterwards I'll have to make a hard choice. Continue offcuts or remake the game in Koikatsu or Honey Select.
