The October monthly excuse will be a rehash of the usual, more eye problems, hardware died, an anal prolapse, or some other unholy dogshit with the long awaited release almost ready and right around the corner.

Another month passes, which means another monthly update! This post will be a pretty short one, as I have already discussed most of the important issues in previous posts. But let's go through the main issues quickly just in case.
My eyesight issues have been slowly getting better after the operation. There's still some occasionally blurred vision and eyestrain, but nothing too bad. The situation has been improving constantly, so even if I never get my full eyesight back things will look pretty good if nothing regresses. Fingers crossed.
As for Offcuts 0.4, I'll try to place the release in a slot that enables me to get fully back in continuing either with Offcuts 0.5 or a new project I have been planning for some time. It would be embarrassing to release 0.4 and then have to pause for a long time again. The other alternative for me is to also retire from this hobby after 0.4 is out if my eyesight can't take it, but hopefully that won't happen.
That's about all for now, feel free to check any previous updates if you want to gather more details. Things are looking pretty good for now and I also started to work on 3D renders again after my eyesight health adventure. My first, quick render in a while is attached to this post. I might be a bit rusty after the pause, but hopefully I'll get back into routine soon. Can't be too NSFW in a public Patreon news post either, but hopefully more hardcore stuff will follow soonish. That sentence right there tells you everything you need to know. Why release 4.0 when you can hold of til 5.0 , why release 5.0 when you can hold off until the new project. Why bother doing anything at all when you're already near 6 years into doing nothing at all.

It's not even funny anymore. Every month. Month after month. For the last 5 something years the release of the Kraken has been promised to the masses, only to keep posting garbage. That amount of stupid is palpable. But here we are 5 years later, and the adventure continues. It's just sad and dumb at this point.
I don't give a shit about this game anymore ... I don't even want it to release ... In fact, I want to see how long this circus can truly go on for. C'mon ladies and gentleman! I'm being serious, let's hope this hits the ten year mark! Here's to many more years of the funniest thread on the site!

The game has three full paths as it is. Polish and release as is. Then, if you have to, make an Offcuts 2.
