Oh yeah, that puzzle was meant to be frustrating so don't worry if you didn't get it.
Thanks for replying and making me feel better

Where in the post that I said I didn't know how to rename file? It was a simple request for future releases, if the developer doesn't want to change it, it is fine too. I downloaded and played a lot of games, so I don't really paid attention to the name of the files I downloaded. I don't want to maintain a list of games where I have to change to file name to something meaningful after download. This is not the only games that used 'acronym' for the file name, and I just deleted those files without knowing what they are.You know you can just rename the files yourself, right?
I'll probably use Zoey as a tutorial/infodump on zombies. The RE girls will just be in side-stories which you can learn about with notes/secrets.Will the RE and L4D girls play a bigger role in the main game then just some secret renders?
The RE models I changed cause of copyright. Inspiration and references from the game are still there but it's no longer an exact copy. Why did you change it? It seemed like it was gonna be interesting when I played the last version. Idk male protagonist might ruin it hopefully not.
That's totally ok, I think. The story/events are the real draw here: they're what are unique about your game. If someone wants to look at a specific person/model, there are countless pieces of media featuring them to go look at instead. But I don't have plans on making them major characters again![]()
Great idea! I've thought about something similar but I'm still having trouble with the combat part. Like the series of events for when you actually see a zombie. Avoiding it, fighting it, or getting captured should be possible but I'm still unsure of the ideas I've had so far (QTEs, shooting mini-games and such). Once I have that figured out, the other survivors could give a few perks to combat/puzzles, and then I could work on an infection progression system. That's totally ok, I think. That aside, do you have any plans to make infection more of a daunting obstacle this time around? What I mean is, in the last game, the women were addled for a very short time before recovering. It seems like it'd be scarier (hotter) if getting infected rendered that character useless, either for a while (opening them up to other attacks) or indefinitely. The latter doesn't necessarily have to be a game over: you could have to send a different character in with an antidote to save them, for example.
I'm not sure how much of a "game" rather than a VN you want to make this, so that might be outside of scope.
Should make it clear on the first post in the Future it be a Female protagonist.I'll probably use Zoey as a tutorial/infodump on zombies. The RE girls will just be in side-stories which you can learn about with notes/secrets.

The male protagonist was just for the prologue. It's a small demo I made to learn daz3d/renpy. Content is going to be similar to the old versions with some gameplay/model changes so if you liked the old one, you'll hopefully like the new one!
I usually use Zoey if I want a random background character for a scene but I'll look into characters from other games!Zoey from L4D has a cameo?
I was expecting the RE girls, but are characters from other zombie franchises going to show up, too?
Like Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw? Or Ellie from Last of Us? Or... um... I can't think of any others.
I guess there also the girls from Back 4 Blood, although I never played that game and can't name any of them.lol all i could think of other than those are rochelle, dying light's ezgi, jade and lawan, and the world war z and zombie army ladies which i doubt non-zombie game fans can even name
I don't know. The game is made in Unreal Engine which to me would make it seem like it'd be easier to export them then with an original game engine. I don't know anything about that kind of stuff though.same. i never tried them. i also doubt you can just export their models or something lol
His story's finished and he won't be in any future updateI played Prologue all the way to the end!
I'm looking forward to the next update, but I have a few concerns...
I was interested in the male protagonist who gave his name, but that doesn't mean he's leaving, does it...?
Wait? So we gonna get another MC? Will it be male or female? And will he/she be the permanent MC or its gonna change again? His story's finished and he won't be in any future update![]()
Glad you liked it!Was a good start. Took me quite some time with the puzzles lol, especially the first one.

To sum it up quickly, the original ONiBC game was started in 2021, but the game got cancelled/abandoned due to mostly a hard drive data loss issue as well as legal issues the developer faced (to the best of my knowledge). See "Old Abandoned" version download on the front page.so the prologue was released in 2021, has there been any updates or has this been abandoned?
