Not necessarily. Remember you can be a "granny" by late 30s irl. I'd say generally it probably means women 50+ though, which isn't too old in the grand scheme of things.

But yeah, I've never viewed Hana as a goth as much as a metalhead. Different interpretations of the character aren't necessarily wrong though!

This could actually be a really good point. I'm pretty into that style of music myself, and I'd agree the tattoos/attitude scream metal to me, but a lot of my friends who aren't into the same things have inaccurate views of the bands etc - that could well extend to people in the scene too.

Similarly, I've never been into the goth thing so I wonder how much truth there is to what my view of what a goth would be like. Definitely an interesting thought!

I personally really like veronica. She is not really my type (muscular etc), but she feels very unique among most games on this site. The other girls fall into your typical porn game stereotypes much more and that became a bit old for me.

Sadly I can never like goth girls like Hana, because they were all ruined for me by that csi show character that I hated growing up.

Agreed, Hana would surely fit into the metal crowd and Wacken! Ever been to Wacken? Really great festival, if you like the music you should be there at least once. Special tip: no matter how much you like metal, good earplugs are your friend there.

I usually didn't like goth girls either. But Hana changed my mind. She is a gem.

Disclaimer: I've only watched a couple episodes of CSI when visiting my parents, who are fans of all sorts of crime/law/medical dramas. I'm not really a TV guy. I'm also not an aficionado of goth culture of fashion, or of any fashion style really.

However, I would dispute whether either character actually fit the definition of a "Goth girl", but that's highly debatable. Knowing the habit of this thread's regulars to really get into the weeds while deliberating trifles, I'll not open that can of worms...

Regardless of what labels can be rightly be applied to them, I don't really see many similarities between CSI's Abby character and Hana, other than superficial ones like hair color, hair style, and dark makeup. I suppose also they are both nice people with principles, but that's hardly a commonality worth noting. I feel it is worth noting that if Hana were a real person or Abby were a Honey Select model, so we could compare apples to apples, Hana would be way hotter than Abby.

Edit: Looks like I posted this reply late and missed that the Goth or Not debate had already started. Can't wait to see if we come to a decisive conclusion on that question. I'll check back on Friday to see what y'all decide.

Hana is hard to categorize, because her look and fashion incorporates a lot of features from different subcultures and music styles.

Her Bettie Page like Bangs and her tattoo on her thigh are often found in the rockabilly scene. Black nail polish, black lipstick and bats (her right side torso to hip tattoo) are commonly, but not exclusiveley associated with the broader gothic subculture. The tunes playing in some of her scenes (especially at the concert) are strongly metal inspired. Her general attire, sporting dominantly black garments and the use of skulls as accessories and studded belts and wristbands, also point, though -again- not exclusively, to metal and goth. Mixed in are some biker chick references (arms tattooes, black leather), she actually rides a bike which has her own name, SuzieQ. Colouring her hair pink and the use of fishnet stockings back in the day, even emanates some emo / glam punk vibes, while her attitude is clearly punk rock rebellish.

Hana is a fusion of different alternative styles and subcultures, which makes her in a very broad sense an "Alt Girl". But if we would describe her appearance to a random stranger in a few words we would probably fall back to the oversimplifyed "She's a Goth Chick" due her Black hair, lipstick and nail polish, her skull accessories and her general black attire.

There is a clear development path for the game, and the end of it has already been decided on.
The story will encompass roughly 6 weeks in a certain year, so the Devs can't drag out the game indefinitely by adding another day or week to it.
Patreon income was always of least concern to the Devs, though it's welcomed, because it shows your appreciation.
The intend of finishing it is very clearly and convincingly present, though producing quality as a hobby or side-project inevitably takes time, and nobody knows which obstacles the future holds.

Updates usually take between 4 to 6 months, providing content you can play for hours, if you don't skip everything.

So either you can be patient and receive some S-class updates, or you better leave, because there will be not a monthly drop of 10 minutes of nothing.

If the devs wanted to milk then the game's setting would not be a brothel. I personally have been happy with them and I have been supporting their work for a few months now.

If you want to know the pace of development look at change logs + release timings and make your conclusion by yourself. I am not sure what anybody here can tell you that would be better than looking at their update schedule + quantity of content delivered each update.

Sounds more than good enough, as long as they can release updates in a resonable amount of time with reasonable quantity and they are comitted to finish it, I am happy. I wasn't aware this was a side-project for them, almost all VN developers do this as their full time job so I am even more impressed with the devs now.
Would rather wait for months and have the gurantee of receiving high quality content then wait a month and have 10 minutes of nothing.

Just checking the release posts on Patreon, updates seem to be around 4 to 6 months apart. They have said that this next update will be on a shorter interval but that future updates will probably still be on longer intervals.
