I'm having the same error, also on the compressed version. I suspect it might be an issue with the compressed version only?
same issue here, i was able to load my saves from 3-3, and with the cheat mod still working so if you guys load a save before the 3-4 update, mainly around the dinner and when you meet rosiland by the car before going to the apartment or taking advatage of the deal, you should habe a close save to where 3-4 starts otherwise if you want here's my skip save to that point with some minor cheat mod edits, its also from the 4-1 compressed version
it'll be at the veronica choice at the end of last chapter, mainly focusing on the corruption style of the girls. Hana and Mina, are romanced, felicia is sugar momma, vernonica is more sub-ish/affectionate, and Rose in under Deal (no romance)

Well done as always developers. Though Im the ultimate mina guy, Im a fan of hana getting her own chapter. I love being able to bend Hana to my will. So hawt. Still fear what'll happen once Ian figures out Im boning his girl, but at least for now hes taking the break up well

For all those people whose game are crashing in the gallery, just delete "extras.rpy" which used to be an gallery unlocker from seigram that I forgot to delete.

I just downloaded the new update, and used the same transfer method I always use when moving it to the folder. I did nothing different. If the old files had a mod, that mod was deleted along with all the other old files.
I pull my old saves folder out of the game folder, then delete all the old files, then move all the new files to the game folder, then move the old saves folder back into the game folder.
I do this with pretty much every game, every update.
I wish I could tell you if I did anything different, but I didn't.
New update broke the "Skip transitions" button for me. It will activate, but it doesn't actually work. Does anyone else have this issue? Are we aware of a method of repair?

Love Hana, sex was hot and long sex scene... But due this update being jsut that... I expect the next one to come sooner honestly..
When referring to any actual aspect of the game (I.E Events, Plot, Scenes) Etc. Please use the spoiler (indicated by a flag) button in the drop down menu.
It just depends on where we decide to cut the next one. It's a balance between putting out an update in what we deem a timely span versus arriving at a conclusion that will give us a satisfying narrative momentum going into the next one.
...which we haven't determined yet, this early into the next cycle.
