Fair point but I insist on one thing and it's a binary choice for this scene specifically: Go Full Sadist or protect the girls. I find that if you waffle on this one you end up with everyone against you (or whoever of the girls you favored) and you might as well get one or the other benefit out of this.

I ignored Sophia before, but now all I think about is her, I hope there are longer and more direct scenes with her in the next update.

To a certain exrend it depends on how we play the game what happens. Edwin and Sophia can connect really well from nerd to nerd!

As for even others like Kath being careful when "dat ass" is around, I have the strong gut feeling Sophia´s talents when the lead starts to fly could become really important for our MC on some paths.
Concerning your quote, Sophia is a far better option for sticking your dick in than many other female characters in PC for Edwin. Both channel serious nerd power.

I definitely do not get nerd vibes from Sophia. She's intellectual and capable of extreme abstraction, but even to the extent she's introverted she doesn't let that interfere with socialization. I'm also skeptical Sophia connected with the MC much at all. I think she was much more interested in gauging his responses than she was in the MC himself. That could always change, but it would probably require the MC display whatever the spark of genius is that separates "arbitrarily good" from "great" in her mind. To date he has not done that.

but yes, overall I agree with you, she's not a nerd, she's an insufferable pedant, waxing intellectualism to anyone who will listen (or she sees a benefit in doing so). She also happens to have one of the more attractive exterior models in game. Her punishment for her lack of social grace should obviously be in the form of hot sex scenes.

Anyway, for unknown reasons, some players haven't grasped the real nature of the relationship between Sophia and our old Abel chap yet.

Some comments seem to believe that I'm hoping for a "happy ending" with Sophia, with her and the MC being compatible in a way she never imagined, but that's not the case.
I can't imagine a "happy ending" with any character in the story, none at all, to be completely honest, I think that in the end the MC will just leave all of this behind and focus on his studies and career, without ever mentioning what he did this summer.
I started writing a list of why I don't see it working with each girl, but pointing out why it wouldn't work made the list too long.

If you read my posts you´ll see that i am VERY aware that much of the Sophia-Edwin meeting was a test for currently debatable reasons. Not only I, the player, but Edwin himself is also aware of that fact, you can see it in the ingame character pages.
Nevertheless our MC and Sophia connected via their shared nerdiness quite well (depending on our choices here). Sophia is an amoral genius nerd, cold, calculating and eccentric. As mentioned as cold as she is/can be, she could have easily sat out anything that happened in the blue room while watching the Carnations, neither Kath nor Edwin would have been surprised. Instead she chose to become involved and we can get quite a makeout sesssion with her.
During the "home invasion" we can also get some banter berween Edwin and Sophia and even the scene ImSenjou showed in his post. No, Sophia and Edwin are not there yet, but they show some real chemistry and connection. What will come from that, we will see (and decide) in further updates.
I think you are on the woodway with what you insinuate. Abel and Sophia´s relationship is very, very much like the one between a Daimyo and his special retainer/successor Samurai, down to the fact she will be his successor in the future.
I theorise it could be possible that Sophia is Abel´s hidden daughter or the daughter he never had taking this place. If you look at it with a bit of distance, those two stick out like sore thumbs among the PC membership and it is mainly that the attention of the other members is on the Carnations and having fun with the house girls that it is not more obvious. Abel and Sophia are not at PC for the things the others are there and more, both loath the current PC leadership with a passion. Those two have own plans with the Club and play partly a role to obfuscate this fact.
