I mean he says "going on with Abel" not "going on with Abel and Sophia". If Sophia is on his radar as a threat to Edwin why not mention her? Dont Edwin and Sophia have a conversation in front of chuck (while he contemplates the chess game) and despite her having "no good reason" to be talking to Edwin (she is utterly in league with Abel) he doesn't just call her over to stop the conversation? Yet that night he talks to his "business partner" about it instead of talking to his Rival (Abel) directly?
That is nothing, unless for people with a fragile ego.Reminder for all the dudes who want to fuck Sophia.

It should still come out in March...at least for the highest Patreon tier. So we'll likely get it a bit later...so it might slip into April.i still need to replay last update,
how close are we from release? is it still more than 2 weeks out?
oh come on whats a little non consensual experimental injection between friends? The actual redflag to me are the experiments that she and her mengelian boss are doing on the people who work at the Carnation Club.
End of March -> Mid April is fucking stacked. Multiple (3?) of the highest rated games and plenty of other stuff too.It should still come out in March...at least for the highest Patreon tier. So we'll likely get it a bit later...so it might slip into April.
Interesting info by you! It underlines my argument about the Daimyo-Samurai like relationship of Abel and Sophia - doing what needs to be done, not questioning it (much). Her getting off on the gangbang might show some wild side of Sophia, but that makes her even a better choice among the girls. The table wasn't really about her testing the drug; rather, how far this woman was willing to go for the old man Edwin made nice with. If anyone remembers, but Abel later offers Sophia to Edwin, and obviously Chuck has his blessing for his roundabout foreplay with her. I see the way Abel freely offers his head researcher to associates as a form of self-exaltation. He's showing off, basically.
Thanks for the info, I knew that the interactions of MC and Sophia changed when he chose her in the blue room. There are no variables for when the MC ignores Sophia and Kat on the couch, but there are variables and interactions in other scenes if the MC chooses Sophia on the couch, like her laughing at his joke, or when she stops at the door, smiles at him and says goodbye using his name, which doesn't happen when the MC ignores her.
I might have misremembered that part, but you are still not fully correct with your argumentation. See this part of said conversation which underscores my arguments that Chuck knows not much about the experiments, Abel and Sophia´s plans (which are most defintely against the PC leadership) and he simply dislikes his old rival´s influence. Here you are. Put your finger in the wound.
other than PC what other games will come out in April?oh come on whats a little non consensual experimental injection between friends?

I know Eternum is planning for a end of march release, but I dont know the other one he's talking about.other than PC what other games will come out in April?

I see your point about Abel showing off, but going by what we learned so far during the game, there is more to it than just that. Sophia is obviously his protege and chosen successor at Waller Pharm., she is a genius and highly capable, it seems Abel is sure that Sophia can keep Chuck from winning at chess long enough for their plans coming to fruition.
Abel and Sophia loath the PC leadership, that is clear from where the game currently stands and the home invasion is something of a convoluted "opening move" to pull Edwin on their side.

I think now we can agree Abel was talking about mind games, not drug testing. The table wasn't really about her testing the drug; rather, how far this woman was willing to go for the old man Edwin made nice with. In hindsight, I think that gets lost on the initial viewing because the reader only sees her standing next to Abel like once and assumed she was a house girl (if they recognized her at all), but I still like the combination punch of showing a yet-to-be-revealed powerful woman's depraved side before she has even been properly introduced.
I don't follow you, bro: you're mixing apples and oranges - 2 different scenes, 2 different situations.I think now we can agree Abel was talking about mind games, not drug testing.
Well, since she always wears her "perfume" whenever she talks to Edwin, I assumed she did the same in that "hors-d'oeuvre situation".The table wasn't really about her testing the drug; rather, how far this woman was willing to go for the old man Edwin made nice with. If anyone remembers, but Abel later offers Sophia to Edwin, and obviously Chuck has his blessing for his roundabout foreplay with her. That's what happened to me first. I thought she was a random house girl and I didn't identify her as Sophia when Sophia appeared next. I only realised it when a user - sorry, I don't remember who - pointed it out on this thread. In hindsight, I think that gets lost on the initial viewing because the reader only sees her standing next to Abel like once and assumed she was a house girl (if they recognized her at all), but I still like the combination punch of showing a yet-to-be-revealed powerful woman's depraved side before she has even been properly introduced.
interesting. Do you have any theories about Hana becoming the new Kathleen at some point in the story? Some happy endings are sad ending to others and vice versa.
Mina and Hana becoming mindbreak sex slaves is a happy ending for evil MC
While you bring some interesting thoughts/theories to our discussion table, there is a flaw in your argument. You assume that Sophia "put on" a nerd persona to lure us in, but that is not the case. Sophia Lundgren can socialize, but it is FAR from her forte. Whenever we see her in the game it becomes quite obvious that she is an eccentric nerdy genius, blunt and straightforward. She is not honey trap material, because even those smitten with her can still recognise that she is an amoral, the end justify the means, calculating woman, who can be very dangerous when needed.Abel and Sophia seem like "ends justify the means" type of people. Abel clearly sent Sophia to butter up and poke Edwin for reaction, and she put on the ditzy nerd persona in order to sucker him in, but Edwin is a lot smarter than most give him credit for, and he's realized that she's a very cold blooded, calculating individual that doesn't have his best interests at heart. Abel and Sophia can't expect people to trust them when they walk around like Mengele and his understudy, conducting shady experiments out in the open.
At least Kat is very charming and personable, and hides her cruely extremely well, while Sophia is clearly playing up the nerd angle, and it obviously worked, considering how many dudes here are desperate to get together with a hot girl that won't make fun of them for playing video games, even hoping for a happy ending with her. Hell, even Edwin wasn't lured by the honey trap, but people here are. You've played way too many harem games if you think any of these women will have happy endings, except maybe the winner of the competition, and even then, it probably won't involve Edwin.
Hell, even Hana and Mina, two of the "vanilla" girls, have shady circumstances about them, with Hana working at the club and being August's daughter, while Mina is Ian's ex gf and a closet nympho. I don't think this game will have many happy endings, but I may be wrong.
No one will be able to convince me that Uncle Chuck isnt a chummy gregarious old man until I see otherwise! While you bring some interesting thoughts/theories to our discussion table, there is a flaw in your argument. I think it was Ottoeight who said paraphrased: Even a true sadist like Kath becomes cautious when "dat ass" is around. With reason, since if Kath´s wet dream is being like e.g. Freddy Krüger or Dean Corrl, Sophia is more like Agent 47, the sniper rifle waiting for you, the garotte in a foggy night or the poisoned chalice.
What I find a lot more alarming in the game is that Sophia considers Chuck being scary! If a person as amoral and dangerous as Sophia tells you someone is scary, you´d better listen carefully!
Coming back to the "test" done on our MC: It is also possible for us to connect well with Sophia and her starting to warm up to us (at least a little). I am one of those hoping for a romance path with her, because worming your way into the cold, calculating heart of Sophia Lundgren is certainly a different experience than a more standard romance.
That said, I consider Hana, Felicia and Sophia by far the best romance/love matches for us, followed by Mina and Daria, our Latina head housegirl.
Just you wait! Another few decades in the direction we are currently going and your grandkids will call you insecure for refusing to eat your wife's poop.
I feel like we had this exact discussion a few months back . I think you have a very naive and rose colored view of Sophia. Even if you do worm your way into Sophia's cold, dead heart, she's the type of woman who has no qualms about hurting the ones she "loves" if Abel wills it. Abel and his experiments will always come first to whoever has the misfortune of being her lover. I don't think a Sophia route, much less a happy ending is feasible within the game's plot. Even Edwin, with his savior complex and mommy issues, has enough sense to notice that something's very off about Sophia, and thathe's better off staying away from her. While you bring some interesting thoughts/theories to our discussion table, there is a flaw in your argument.
