Winning the series in 3 doesn't seem like something that Kat would allow. She's devious and evil enough that I'm sure something will cause the contest to go into game 4.

Kathleen specifically mentioned that outcome was boring as fuck and she'd taken that into account when devising the current content, so you can probably expect at least some twist in such scenario.
On the simplest level, all it'd require is to assign different, increasing weight to each subsequent competition (or just to the last one) meaning a last-minute comeback is possible.

I keep following and reading this game/novel to see if there will be a path where the MC makes it out the other end, breaks away, manages to get the club shut down, and lives happily ever after with the LI of his choice.

Sure I agree, but the possibility to commit to both Hana and Mina ultimately comes down to Hana accepting it, since I don't think Mina would be against it (she's even suggesting it during one interaction with her). Now, Hana can't accept it as of now, okay. But like I said, well-written characters can change their tunes given the right persuasion. And since there will be scenes with both in the future, and given that the two girls do like each other, I'd say that the possibility to be able to commit to both in the future isn't this far-fetched.

Yes, but the game is quite explicit, per Mina's words, how you might eventually get there: she asks you don't two-time Hana, and that she'd like her own arrangement with you to continue. And Hana is equally explicit she isn't even sure at the moment if she'll be okay with MC fucking club girls, if she and MC got together, and obv. not someone outside of it.
So it basically comes down to having some restraint and not trying to have your cake and eat it too immediately. It's quite likely a FWB Hana might be interested in a casual threesome with MC and Mina (she teases MC about it quite early) and it might maybe even develop into something more down the road, but it's simply not something you just spring on a girl who has just tentatively floated an idea of getting into relationship, or expect her to come to terms with it after she finds out you've been cheating on her for weeks (unless you're a moron, or it's one of those porn games with writing for room temperature iq)

Calm educated conversations and critical analysis are kind of the MC's main things: he doesn't do social/feelings/emotional logic well, but he does do critical analysis quite masterfully; he's very "thinker"-based.
Hana actually is fond of Mina ("twintails", as Hana called her), and MIGHT actually be aware that the MC might already have an active interest in her, if Hana drove the MC to Mina's to help her out.
However, that very same familiarity means Hana probably realizes Mina is SERIOUSLY naiive/innocent in fact (it's a high probability this is one of the reasons she likes Mina, and even relaxed a bit around her) so Hana w/likely feel REAL conflicted about the MC lying to her. Having to lie to all the mundanes was Hana's biggest hang-up of dating anyone outside the club.
Doing the Carnations outside the club would kind of be a gray area but in truth it would also be a potential conflict of interest for the MC. I mean if you're going to f*** one of them outside the office you should f*** all three, or someone could try to say that you helped one Carnation over the others by rigging the tests somehow.
Depending on the MC's proclivities that impartial doling out of recreational fvcks might be difficult. I mean, for me, Felicia was so freaking easy to get high affection with it wasn't even funny but Veronica, I just find sub unappealing in real life, so I had trouble putting up with her s*** ingame and it got to the point where I couldn't even give her comforting words after she lost bad in the "humiliation" week, because my affection was so low. That can't hold a candle to Roslind, however, who I didn't even have ANY affection with (ZERO all game til then) until my MC was nice to her during her traumatic experience of being forced to star (w/her real name on display) in the p0rn vid. After that video he suddenly magically had 2 (count em! 2!! affection with her.

I wouldn't be surprised if she is trying SOME twistee shit to corrupt Hana, and she's trying to get some sort of s*** on Hana to distance her from her father. That would definitely be a Kathleen thing to do. That psychopathic b1tch needs to get graped with a leaky pineapple.
That said it would be pretty damn hard to force the issue, given Hana's got club shares coming to her so she's not going to be in a weakened position anytime soon, and especially given who her dad is, and how motivated to protect/help Hana and her mom he is.
Her dad's old though and there might be ways to get him out of the way plus she could be coerced into becoming a carnation for some other reason but that would have to be in a future game, because we've got our three already.
More likely Kath's got some Twisted as f*** plan for forcing Hana into putting carnations in the worst humiliating circumstances possible, and breaking her down that way. Kathleen's likely looking to turn Hannah into another Kathleen, the way she seems to be trying to do that with the MC.
Mind you I haven't played further along in the game than chapter 2's end into in the beginning of 3, so I could be very off base on that

I think you guyz should realise that the story will end on week 4, saturday night (namely, in 9 days only). After that night, we're only having some aftermath epilogue.
This is what the Authors told us HERE on this thread, more than once.
