I'm not sure but their respawn seemed random to me. At least I got 1 or 2 of them again after a few days.

This one would be mine but it's certainly not the best save you could get (underleveled, no money, few potions etc.) - it doesn't really matter for the new content though.

they respawn. I'm 60% certain, they respawn every 3-4 days

I tested al the creatures in the game and.... surprise! the vampires are most pleased when fed batbreeders. there's a longer text about playing with one's food
