Does the torrent not work with Deluge? I can download the file fine, but I can't add it

Doesn't work for me with deluge as well.
Deluge is an slightly older open source bittorrent client without anything really fancy but since it is open source it is also completely without any adware or anything like that attached to it.
It is the first time a torrent file does not work there. Sometimes deluge has problems with file names of the torrent file itself (with japanese characters for example) but in these cases renaming the torrent file helps. This time i see the file opened in the client but i can't start it.
I assume there is something in the structure of the torrent which the client does not like.
Edit: Using the v1 magnet link works somehow, it takes deluge forever to find it but it does. It shows 6,4 GB total but the details show 10,9 GB with an .pad folder with 4,5 GB which is already at 99,98% without any real downloaded data so far.
So i assume that folder (or whatever it is) is the culprit in the torrent file.
