This coming chapter is the last full chapter and than we get one more extra chapter that will contain only epilogues for the characters.

Progress is at 56% so if that's accurate and progress continues at exactly the same rate it would finish in mid November.

WWG's progress always slows down at the end, because the writing takes up more time than he anticipated. So, it's a lot safer to say it'll be start of January.

I like the jokes & references, sure, some fall pretty flat, but it wouldn't be the same to me without them.

Aren't jokes and pop-culture references the main theme of PV? This is what keeps 40% of interest in the game, especially because of the many jokes.

Only thing that becomes a little different is the bad endings where it turns dark rather than sexy... I would slow down the pace a little, because when we play the main story and then encounter a bad-dark ending (like Chapter 12), sometimes a different atmosphere is conveyed...

Actually they ruin the game for me, at least the story part. I'd be happy with a complete lack of any attempt at humor or pop culture in PV, because honestly - it just doesn't work. But then I had to give up on the game partway through Chapter 7, so it's a bit of a moot point.

For me, the MC is a moron, but he's meant to be a moron, due to the comedy framework. I find that very different to most other games, where the MC is meant to be a serious, normal guy, but is actually a moron.

I like the humor in the game. My only gripe is the conversations they have during what I think would be a great opportunity for a steamy sex scene. An obvious example I can point to is when Aliza was finally taken for a ride and they discussed Apple gift cards during the entire scene. It took away from a scene I was kind of looking forward to.

I noticed that was more frequent when Chapter 6 got started, and it's one of the reasons I dropped the game.

For me, the MC is a moron, but he's meant to be a moron, due to the comedy framework. I find that very different to most other games, where the MC is meant to be a serious, normal guy, but is actually a moron.

He's really even worse than that - he's a consummate idiot with the IQ of a rock. He continues doing things (like opening a safe) in a house that has pinhole cameras everywhere. And since the player is given choice over where to go in the house, the order in which things happen, and (some) decisions to make, it's like WE are the idiots playing the MC. That didn't sit well with me - the lack of choice, respect from family, and overuse of bad humor just turned me off. If I could change that by removing the humor/pop culture, adding in more respect from others for the MC (at least to standard human levels), and actually being allowed to choose who to screw and how things unfolded, the game would be a winner.

That's what I was trying to say very poorly. He is a consummate idiot with the IQ of a rock, but so is 90% of all the MCs. The difference for me, is that he is meant to be, he's written that way. So I don't actually find it frustrating, like I do when Devs are trying to be serious and there MC is no better than here.

Could not agree more with that. There's nothing I hate more than forced sex/romance (although personally, there's only 1 here that I would turn down). But I was aware coming in that it was like that and give CTRL a good working out during her scenes.

My primary "kick to the curb" LI would have been Mallory - that bitch didn't deserve anything, much less several good dickings. But then I found "caving in" to many of the LIs (like a good little walking sex toy/handmaid) overall not fun. I counted at least a dozen times where I would have turned down sex with a girl and had zero choice in the matter.

Hunter/Kevin and Lucia, for sure. She doesn’t have as much NTR action as the other main family characters and I feel like it only makes sense to have a scene.
