VN Ren'Py Powers That Be [Ch. 22 - Accepting] [Burst Out Games]

I understand the need to want to stand out but sometimes simple is best. This grand scheme is just too much. I would have been fine with a simple slice of life where the niece just happens to have the ability to sway people's moods. Then it starts to lead into this grand scheme leading to I guess the apocalypse? Where super humans are at war for the fate of humanity I guess? I can't really see this remaining an erotic game with this much happening in the plot. In as few words as I can say, it's overly ambitious. To the point I think it will become a detriment to the reason people started playing it. I personally didn't care about the decision to kill off the ex wife but that's because at that point it felt like a joke. All of the ridiculous references and extremely topical dialogue was stomach-able, but once we hit x-men levels it just became too hard not to cringe. To be fair, I tend to avoid games with super powers and over the top action so at this it just became like those other vn's with anime levels of action and magic. I hope they'll be able to balance the story with "plot" for lack of a better word without it feeling out of place, but I don't have much faith in that because any vn that has tried to do that always just feels like it has shoe-horned sex scenes.

Do we really have to start a new game? Not playing with any Mods other then official Incest Patch and none of my Saves are loading. Says no place to rollback... ** pouty face **

i couldn't get any of the saves from CHs 16-18 to load even with or without any patchs

i found a save from ch15 that loads if any1 else has this problem too i have added the working save below ,its at the end of ch15 "3-6-LT1" it dose play all the way thru to the new CH, i also added a save at the end of ch18 "5-2-LT1" if u want to skip to that.

Note: the saves are from PC so idk if they'll work on MAC

Honestly there are far more "nerdy references to music, movies, TV and games" in this porn game than anything that can even be considered "US propaganda".

Might be because I'm an old fuck and understand (plus occasionally cringe at) the references.
Some of those references are in the open ("I got the high ground!!!", a few comments about being glad they don't sparkle, ...) while others are relatively hidden (multiple music related ones) and have seeped into "normal" language.

And btw. that includes the "USA good, Russia bad!" trope.
Especially after Ukraine.
From where I'm sitting that one is not propaganda anymore.
