Is he going to ever add actual H animations instead of just binding the enemies groin to a fluctuating sin wave? Like, it works for a bit, but when that's ALL there is to the animations, it comes off as pretty lazy and boring. He's done this for all of his games so far.

Hey there guys. Huh, does this game have combat rape ?
The animations of the game is really nice, i almost tought i was playing a alpha from a comercial game..
Anyway, i played a little and was really liking but, it seems its does not have combat rape.
I mean, the rape happens in another place.. in a cutscene.
That was a let down for me.
I prefer if the action happens right there.
Example..

Heroine Rumble
Heroine Rescue Team
Live A Battle
Anyway, i hope the dev success. The animation are top tier, and the strugling mecanic is cool.
The Grapple happen when you are standing, and if you can't get out in time, you will fall down in the floor.
From there, the animation still continue.

I whacked zombies for awhile, which felt pretty good for a pre-pre-pre-alpha test build. Clearly reminiscent of Callisto Protocol combat mechanics. Zambo AI is a little rudimentary and very predictable after a handful of encounters, but dangerous in numbers. The player character feels pretty powerful as long as she's not being ganged up on by more than 3 or 4 zambos. Looking forward to the H-scenes being more seamless than dying->black screen->sex->black screen->wake up->find your stuff->back to normal gameplay, as it's kind of a time-consuming process if you die and a very notable quit moment. I feel this process requires an unnecessarily great deal of skill and patience from the player if the game goes in a direction towards more challenging encounters. At the moment, since this is not even a proof of concept, I hope to see H-scenes just happen then and there, or at least not take the player so far away from where they initially were.

Maybe because in 90% of cases it is greed or mismanagement to have more than one project active, with a solo developer. And in the 10% of cases it is something different, most people are unwilling to do their own research. There is a lot of developers on Steam, that do that, and in most cases it causes all their games to crash and burn, because they are distributing their time and energy to too many different projects at once.

Maybe Alket should put in giant, bold letters, that Matt's hard drive crashed and that is why the other projects failed, on the first page. Should get some of the whiners to shut up.

In all of the threads has been repeated over and over (and over and over and over...) again, people whine because they cannot read or lack common sense, even if I were to put stuff on the OP nothing will change...because they would either not read it or wear their tinfoil hat and keep on hating...

The previous "Project Elimination" game was much more interesting, platforming, combat system, H scene system. It's a pity that everything fell apart.

Anyway yes, New Year update.

This build is focused primarely on combat:

  • new balance of damage and stamina, expecially stamina recovery;
  • new animation animations for attack, both enemies and player;
  • reworked dodge (inspired by Callisto Protocol for close range);
  • first iteration of the official melee weapons (still has "bonk" sound);
  • first iteration of "enemy indicator" / "compass" / "radar" (for now toggleable from options - gameplay options)
  • added hit indicator (for now toggleable from options - gameplay options)
  • new weapon durability system and items to recover it (inspired by MHW "sharpness");
Outfit changes:
  • Changed outfit from officer's skirt to the first combat suit (other outfits will be available);
  • added shader and displacement map (GPU heavy, can be disabled in options) to the new outfit;
  • added dynamic outfit mods based on equipped weapon (only melee weapon for now);

Disclaimer:
This build has a lot of animation issues (we are aware of this, a complication of the implementation of new features) due to these, for this version, getting caught by an enemy will be considered a game over and you'll be brought back to spawn (there was a gamebreaking bug and little time to polish it before the new year, but we wanted you guys to have something new to play around with.)

Enhanced PPoC is finally complete and PPoC task is now closed.

This build is a bugfix primarly and a new feature testing secondly, while keeping its focus on combat as the one before

These are the changes:
  • New combat AI, monster are more aggressive an will try to surround you if given the chance
  • Day/night will affect the monsters, the will have increase damage during the night and will spawn in greater numbers
  • Players will gain 2x EXP during the night (leveling system is still a placeholder)
  • New camera angle for testing and feedback purpose (a "zoom" function for the camera is in the works, for now it's fixed, we apologize for the inconvenience)
  • Supply lockers will reset with the store to give you basic supplies.
  • Save System made it into the game, you can only save in a safezone (Not part of the free build)
MANY bugfixes, but:
  • The baton will spawn with 0% durability, usa a repair kit to bring it back up and do proper damage
NB: the difference between paied and free version is only the save system, not available for the free version.

Considering no one has mentioned it before now, I guess I might be in the minority with this next bit. I'm just going to go ahead and say it anyway and hope for the best:

I just...really, really don't find the current character we play as to be attractive. Like at all. The body type and whatnot is fine, if nothing particularly impressive in the volume or shape department, but I just CANNOT get past that combo of face and hairstyle. I really hope that we can swap it out to something better in later builds because for me at least, I find her so unappealing that it actually puts me off of wanting to see any of the H scenes. I actively tried to keep the camera behind her because I couldn't stand it.

Is it just me who feels this way?

someone finally said it. i held back since (i think?) its something that can be changed very easily in the future? could be totally wrong.

i think its body + style + look though, not just attractiveness.
playing as a hot female, should, well, be a hot female. otherwise wtf is the point lmao.

Dude, preferences are everything, you are entitled to not liking the character, no need to sound apologetic...nevertheless: that is the style of Matt's art, there will be some limited customization in the future, but not for a while, consider also that while the outfits are pretty much final, the model itself it's not (lack of details, expecially in the genitalia). As for the hairstyles, ther will be multiple to choose from, like the face features, but don't hold your breath for it just yet.

good points. maybe in the future MateyDev will make a porn game with a hot character, like in the original Sector 7 game. She was pretty hot.

Probably, once we'll get to the customizations and feedback will start pouring in, he will simply add more "hot" faces...
