Just play the game, it was NTR only when really streching the definition and the dev changed the scene (listening to users more than any other dev I've seen)... The story is good worth the try

Edit not sure if 3.1 has the updated scene though the way the dev talked about it, it should be enough to make the scene playable not just skip the content which is effort i can only respect. Most devs just add a disclaimer and a way to skip

My point which seems to be missed is that any NTR-ish content will cost the developer money. It also sounds from some of the content that the story may contain some type of abuse. If it does and it happens to a woman or a child, that will also have a significant impact on the story's earning potential. I am making no comment about the quality of the story. I have not played it. I am only commenting on some plot elements that can detract from a story's ability to make money. The comments from this group seem to indicate that this story contains one of those elements, I could be wrong. I am just suggesting that if it does; it might explain, at least in part, why this game is on episode three and only has 22 patrons.

Why are you commenting without playing the game? And most of what we are talking about are hypotheticals at the moment.

Checked, your argument holds no water, only on the first page of the latest updates page when searching for NTR, most have around 100 patreons, and 3 or 4 of them are pulling over 1000 dollars.

One hundred patrons is not what I would consider successful nor 1000 dollars per month although it would depend how long the game has been out. Let's look at it this way these are porn games. Many have argued that in pornographic movies you watch a man other that yourself having sex with a woman. I would argue that if they are like porn movies, they are like POV porn. I am no where near an expert on porn. However, what I have seen of POV porn, there doesn't seem to be other men in the scenes. What is porn all about? Making money. I'm talking about physical and sexual abuse. Mind control games seem to get a pass as not really rape. The story almost always includes the idea that the subject will not do anything that they really don't want to do. The sexual acts are usually depicted as what the subject secretly wants. Ecchi Sensei has been out over two years and makes less that $7000 month which is good for a game with the type of content that you have said is in there. Radiant is on has its initial release and one minor update, over $6000 per month, WVM out since August nearly $15,000 per month. They may be outliers but so is ES.

Yes, I read your comment. You claimed that you found some games on the latest update page that made some money which invalidated my argument. I increased the sample size, which as anyone can tell you, increases accuracy in extrapolating to a larger population. You are right it is up to the developer to decide what is more important to him or her: the story they are telling or the income generated. I specifically said that since the developer's goal was to reach $250/month that I believed he could do so with the current content.

P.S.: You do realize that the continued back and forth that my comments have generated do nothing but help the developer.

Then just to end the argument, as this will go nowhere otherwise, check seeds of chaos which makes 11000 a month, what you talked about where outliers, it is simply rare for games to make that much in Patreon, there are cases, I could cite Fenoxo, or a town uncovered, summertime saga, but that amount of money is rare, it isn't the pattern, it isn't the medium, it is the top of the top, and with time, if the game knows how to appeal to its niche, it can make that amount, but it is rare, 1000 is already rare. I believe that this game has the potential to be making that kind of money, it just needs time for it to get out there, the story is interesting, the characters are good, the renders and sense of humor are also very good, and the dev obviously cares about it.
