"Hate" is a pretty strong word.  I could say I "hate" posters with a ridiculously bizarre sense of entitlement who strangely believe that an AVN dev they are not supporting (or even if they are) somehow 
owes them something/anything. 

 But that would probably be going a bit too far, no?
How about we just agree that 
since nobody can see the future it is likely that the vast majority of devs start projects planning to finish them...but that life interferes somewhere in the long development period and results in games not being finished. Isn't it more realistic to assume that most people wouldn't start a long complex project unless they intended to complete it? Many may be naive to think they can do it, but it's a HUGE stretch to claim they knew that in advance and therefore deserve "hate" because they don't finish.
