For a period of that time, the game was actually considered abandoned. Updates on progress have been more frequent than ever recently though so hopefully we'll see new version releases more frequently going forward too.

Is he introducing new models while he struggles to finish game with 3 models? Perfect strategy. It will defo be much easier to release the game with 10x more content... :/

Bold strategy making an assumption based on no research. How can you say he's struggling when majority of the last 2 years this was basically approached as a part time hobby. Some people have this false impression that anyone who decides to make "adult games" must also be full time game devs straight out of the gate.

This thread has existed since may 2018 and now the dev is working on re-rendering old scenes instead of working on new content. Doesn't inspire much confidence about when 0.4 or 0.5 will be out

Polyrotix said, "Majority of the scenes [for v0.4] are finished and just needs editing. Coding, writing, and some audio stuff are still needed". Normally, that would mean that re-rendering shouldn't delay things much. However, this dev has a history of disappearing and then reappearing after 6–12 months, so who knows? If he can manage to keep even relatively close to what he's claimed, we should have the next release in the next few weeks. I'm not sure, though, if we can actually trust what he's claimed.

Where's this coming from? I thought I had my finger on the pulse for this game but this is the first I'm hearing of re-renders.

edit- Ah I somehow missed the last progress update. I knew it existed I just forgot to read it xD
Well, it sounds to me like most of what needed re-rendering was already done when that post was made. He's been wanting to rework the beginning of the game since the very first update dropped and everyone complained about it. Gotta do it at some point :shrug:

I don't really see what was wrong the renders myself, it's the spelling and grammar that need to be worked on (and maybe getting rid of the screen shakes).

Adding in the ability to see the quick save and auto save menu would be handy as well.

Hello, hello!



This update will be kept a bit short because the work done for 0.4 is nearing completion. I really planned to finish it around this time but for some stupid reason, I always add shit that increases my development time. Mostly its just graphic design but there are some stuff I had to render out again. There's still the addition of new SFX that the intro didn't have so I'll probably add a few later. Also, one thing I underestimated was the re-writing.

I honestly thought that because I've already finished Episode 1, I can just re-write it again with some minor differences, right? Nope! Not by a longshot. Because I've changed up how the intro worked, the references I made in latter episodes including the current one needs to be updated. It means lots and lots of reading and re-writing. I think that also forced me to shorten some of the lengthy sentences found in the intro.

Overall, it's gonna take me a bit longer but not by much. I hope I can power through it all. That's it for this weekend update! I hope all of you had a great week (well, if you were part of the GME craze then you had it crazy good). I hope February will give us much more love.

which is the old and which is the new? Been awhile since I played it. I like the body poses on the right but the facial expressions on the left are much better. Either way, thanks for the share.
