That question was answered by yourself before I could get to it. It’s true. They are known as Kentaurides, but nowadays, most know them for their ‘modern’ name. I wasn’t sure the Players would know them by Kentaurides. And I didn’t want the Player to have to google the name as they might have done for the Mokoi.

Don't know where your getting that idea from they are evil spirits from the folklore of the first nation Algonquian tribes. they are said to posses a human to influence them to invoke acts of murder, insatiable greed and cannibalism. I don't see how that is any thing like a vampiric orc.
Yes, in that tribes native lore your right, but in some sources that have orcs and elves etc they spread out the "Doom and gloom", so humans get vamps, orcs get wendigo, elves become banshee, ghouls are similar to the ones in game etc, thats why i mentioned it.
What you mean is work of fiction though, while the game lore is mostly based on a mythology mix.
what you talking about chapter 4 is done it on the first page when you download it .
