Wow, you two have no memory capacity at all. Jensen's very first sex scene in S1E1 was with one of Cynthia's lovers - the one she didn't choose that night. Jensen was taking her leftovers.

Right from the get-go, you met Cynthia going clubbing with 2 of her girlfriends, and meeting up with her older lover who is also her mother's close friend. Cynthia was always, from the first moment you met her, a rich kid socialite who sleeps around with a whole bunch of women. She flirts heavily with Mei at first sight, when Mei and Nicky met her at the clothes boutique.

If you somehow missed all of that, then honestly, words fail me.

If you can somehow miss something that obvious, then you certainly have no chance at all in spotting the subtext of how the wealthy girl with the very busy and successful Father and his second wife, feels they just don't seem to have time to give her the attention she so craves, and so she has developed the habit of taking all the love-substitute she can get.

That scene in particular was an important part of opening up some specific path options later, specifically for Mei, but please, don't stick around for them. Leave that to people who don't make idiotic snap judgements based on the first impression without any knowledge or care for why it is there, and the disrespect for the writers to express it.

The devs themselves are not always responsible for the tags. Just ask the dev of "Depravity" how annoyed he is at the fact his game got tagged for gay content, when it was actually a transexual who was very feminine.

There's a lot we might want to add to the OP, and at times there were outdated things that took a long time to be removed, but you'll notice the Dev here, MrKnobb is not the creator of the OP, and so can't edit it.

I get that, but can't you get a mod to do that?
Also, I don't know how it is in this forum, but I know in some forums it's possible to transfer ownership of a thread/post to somebody else or move a subsequent post into the OP slot (with mod/admin powers of course). Sure, you'd probably end up getting some of the "uploaders" complaining about their lost likes or whatever, but in fairness, the likes are generally for the game/VN rather than the OP and as such rightfully the devs. (Maybe something to look into?)
I guess there's the issue of not all devs being happy about their games/VN's being here and the potential that they'd sabotage it, but if ownership of OP or the possibility of a new OP being inserted then that would be easily remedied.

Why do you need this? Are you buying a smartphone or reading a story full of surprises?

By key info I mean if a genre is avoidable (e.g. some people can't stand ntr and will not play a game with unavoidable ntr, therefore it should state whether it's avoidable or not) and if people are constantly asking for/about a genre and the dev has no intention of adding it and they're sick of answering then they can say for example "There is and will never be NTR/incest content" in the OP.
Basically information that could determine if a person will play or not and FAQ's.

my last word is that i meant it in good way, i would liked cynthia as a female protagonist in this game.. since she's whoring her self as jensen does. doesn't matter who picks leftovers of who.

i find it smart that devs used lesbian action more that m/f with side characters to avoid ntr whinning. beside his pheromon thingy still the fact that all females attracted to jensen only make it a garbage harem game, 0 fun.

Cynthia literally met one, and only one girl as a result of knowing Jensen, that 1 being Penny, and that one also being someone Jensen hadn't had sex with.

Cynthia met Mei through Nicky, with Cynthia's mother (Jane) being the best friend of Nicky's mother (Vicky), that could, and likely would, have happened regardless of whether Jensen was ever born.

On the other side of the equation, Cynthia introduced Jensen to Abigail (from whom he got a blowjob), to Frankie (Cynthia's main lover, the silver fox, with whom he had that threesome), she also knew Vicky and Nicky long before Jensen met them (because of her mother, of course).

Yeah, if we'd wanted to write a different kind of game, then Cynthia could have been quite the protagonist for it as MC ... but that's effectively true of every decently fleshed out character if you think about it.
Vicky runs a fashion magazine and could be a fine protagonist for a story of models and glamour in that world.
Michael Brewster could be the protagonist for a game about wealth and power, with elements of business management.
Nicky as the nerdy student who has a slightly oppressive upbringing and blossoms as she becomes more assertive and independent is like a brainier version of Chloe18 perhaps.
Mei, the naughty but nice girl who fell afoul of her parents disapproval, and ends up getting involved in a string of wild adventures, including seducing her best friend's crush, getting captured by villains, and being rescued by a ninja who seems strangely attracted to her...

You see, we are all the main characters of our own narratives, and everyone around each of us is also the 'hero' of their own story. Your family, your friends, your co-workers or fellow students, each of them the MC of their own story. I kind of like having a story that reflects that reality. A story that has characters who have lives, and are not mere 'props' for one basic and superficial story.

While it's perhaps a little sad that we can't just pick whatever girl we like as our love interest, I do think all the girls get plenty screentime. Sometimes even more than necessary (like, several scenes in the last two updates felt a bit like "filler" material). And, carving out their character does give MrKnobb the interesting opportunity to create his own "universe", allowing for (radically!) different games, with different stories, allowing cameos for our favourite characters. Let's just call that universe "Knobb City" for convenience.

I could totally see a new game revolving around Hitori, for example. Starting just before the time he meets Mei. His game would tell an entirely different story, one that briefly touches Jensens' story, but for the rest revolves more around his fight with the Triad, his relation with the Yakuza, and hardly, if ever, even mentions Addam or Romanonov or whoever is more primarily featured as antagonist in Retrieving the Past.

Such a series of games would eventually become quite complex, but interesting nonetheless. And the nicest thing about it, your favourite sidegirl from one game could well end up as a primary LI in the next.

I don't remember her making a promise to have a 3some in the shower. But since you're defending this poorly written mess so much, I'm sure you would know. But then again it doesn't take much talent to write a kinetic novel.

I know I was VERY disappointed to not have Mei and because of that, I am done with this one. However, with THAT said, all the people bashing on MrKnobb should be ashamed of their selves. It is written well and for people to disrespect is wrong. People need to remember that the dev writes for their own self and if others don't, that's on them. No need to get all shitty to the dev just because what YOU wanted didn't happen. If you people think you can do better, then develop something yourselves. No need to cry about it.

I don't think you've followed any of the story.

Jensen lost his pheromone thing during season 1 and he was never getting a harem. There are 3 potential love interests, he only gets 1 not all 3.

There is also male/female action with Jensen's sister having sex with her lover.

Mei will also be getting a lover probably during season 3, that has been foreshadowed already. The girls scene was a 1 off for her, she even says she prefers men. She's wanting some of Ghost, the Yakuza assassin.

There are lesbians in the story, and they have been there since the first season, and Jensen has been going through a story arc.

This is a novel not a porn game. Jensen isn't going to be fucking around, he has 3 love interests and you get to pick 1. The rest of the cast has their own thing going on.

Don't know why i'm bothering, it's clear you skipped all of the story.

I kind of agree to a point. All the women, except for Mei and Nicki in the beginning, seemed to have some or full on lesbian tendencies. Which is fine to an extent. Then it went full on lesbian action. A lot of people will enjoy it. But, take Mei out and the game has no appeal to me. But, MrKnobb has a vision, so, let the vision be seen for those who want it. I for one, won't be seeing it.
