Yes.

Also, the 'neither' preference was created exactly for players like yourself that hadn't gone with one clear choice but had tried to 'balance' both girls.

It confused me as well. Maybe it is because English is not my first and daily language, but to me "neither" suggests "non of them". Since that would not be an obvious choice in a game like this, I figured that this would be the right option for me.

Maybe it would be clearer if the choice was "both" or "not decided yet".

I realise that the word neither refers to the choice, not to the girls. It is good English, I think, but a bit confusing.

You nailed that exactly. It was about the choice, and if you were ambivalent or undecided, you had chosen neither... yet.

I think we were also giving people a gentle hint/spoiler that there is never going to be an outcome where you get 'both' as an ending.

Nicky is a bright young girl just starting to create her own life, and step out from the somewhat over-protective and overbearing relationship she had with her mother prior to Jensen's arrival in their life. She's not going to sign up for an entire lifetime as mommy's baby just for a man, even one as handsome and charming as Jensen. :D

Can you change the protagonists's name?
No.

This is a story where you are experiencing the perspective of a character, so, just like any book, movie, etc, that character has a name and a personality. This isn't one of those games with a big blank in both name and personality for you to self-insert.

That is a necessity of the plot and story. You see, self-insertion avatars are fine when a character is going to start with nothing, so how he got that nothing is irrelevant, and fine for you to make up whatever you want. It can even be made to work for games where you suddenly inherit something - a hotel, a house, or a fortune, provided you then make the character young and have no history to worry about.

But that's the key thing, you see. This story is ALL about the character history - the Past of the title. You need to play as this character because it is his past. But do feel free to use just a little imagination if you want to pretend someone named this guy with a very different life and history to your own with your preferred name.

Really, that's it? Doesn't seem like a lot of content and all the military talk and stories get boring (takes way to much place)... Aside from the main story everything is great, to me it takes to much effort for not much in the end (animations, writing, scenes, bad guys, male figures, etc. for something I'm sure most people don't care about), when there's actually so much potential to dev a great game.

That's sad. Also some female figures are ugly, I mean most of the girls with daddy issues, apart from the hidden daughter, they could be replaced...

This might seem like asking a lot, but to me the dev's money could have been spent in far better ways. Besides money I feel like to much effort and time were put into the wrong directions.

Didn't want to make a review, because I would have been speaking and rating out of my emotions instead of being critical and I think that the dev still did a good job, so I don't feel like that would've been right.

Apparently you know most people. I don’t. All I know is that I really like the efford that is taken to tell a good story. If I just want to see porn, there are many other sources.

That's all well and good. And just makes it that much more problematic. Because whoever this particular character is supposed to be, with all his struggles and motivations and foibles n' what-nots....I won't be able to stop picturing everything that happens with him as Dean Winchester.
