So the cliffhanger for ep6 does something that I, as a reader, really fuckin' appreciate. A lot of authors in the episodic VN scene have this bad habit of making the penultimate moments in their current arc the cliffhanger, and then running the resolution and cooldown as the opening scenes of the following chapter. Sure this can work great in a product where you know you will see the resolution next week, same bat time, same bat channel. Problem is in a product where the next chapter is anywhere from months to a year away, it's borderline counterproductive. If you're gonna give me a literary edging session, then just get up and leave and drive away before the resolution, sure than can be exciting, but you gotta make sure I'm still hard for it when you come back to finish me off. If I have to wait months for the resolution, I've damn near forgotten why I cared by the time the release gets here. It actually lessens the impact of the resolution by putting that much time in between the story beats. It's hard to even justify it with a "it works better for the finished product" argument since in that scenario the reader gets the resolution immediately anyway, the only difference being which side of the episode title splash screen you get it on.

This one was good though, pushed some more long term lines forward, wrapped up a mini arc with a satisfying resolution, gives the reader a few moments of literary PNC, then hits you with a "hey, wanna get excited for something else?" right before credits roll. As a reader I'm hooked either way, but this is more satisfying. Building anticipation instead of blue-balling.

Well, you see it from the wrong side. This AVN is a work in progress. After completing this game there isn't a cliffhanger at all. It's not a serial novel. You're playing an incompleted game and have to live with this or stick to the completed games until this one here is completed.

So basically all I got from your post was
"WAAAAH CLIFFHANGER BAAAAAD!".

Yes, you opened with the "fact" that you liked the cliffhanger for ep6 but immediately argued against that.

According to you cliffhangers should only be used if the next installment is "Next Week" so that you can "still be hard then".

First of all please see a doctor. Running with an erection for a full week or longer is not really healthy ...

Second of all the question of why are you consuming anything but series on TV or a streaming platform?
(And btw. TV series are filmed more or less on one go and are released in 12+ episodes a year later)

And lastly "when you come back to finish me off" sounds like you are seeing authors like your personal whores.

If you don't like seeing cliffhangers adjust your filters on the forum to only show you "Completed" games.

When he saved his mom in 1999 when she was pregnant I thought we were going to get another sister back in the present but it seems like we're going with a model where the present already exists and we're basically interpreting the past through the present. No changes in the present except minute ones like Kira/Krystal and the necklace.
We might get a Steins;Gate worldline shift at the climax though.
1999 sections are my favourite part of the story. The wait is going to be unbearable. screenshot0001.png

There's also nude versions of those pics, not sure if you wanna post them or not.

But my god, after seeing the Tiffany one, I for one can't wait for some scenes with the "landlady" :sneaky:
Not a patron sorry and if i was i never share Patreon posts :)

If you see this Jestur, you ruined my sleep schedule yet again by releasing an update that I didn't want to stop playing and so blazed through the entire thing in one sitting and now it's 7am.

I was asked recently about my favorite "porn games" and Ripples was one of two on the list (alongside Eternum) that is still under active development because what you have given us is good enough that I consider the risk of abandonment to be one worth taking. I usually operate with a mindset of "I'll check and see if X game ever gets updated" but Ripples is more in the ASoIaF camp of "I swear to God, I need to know how this thing ends". I have come to terms with the fact that GRRM will let me down, but I really hope you won't.

The animated scenes in this game are so good and really beautiful.

I´m waiting so much for begin testing the kinkies ideas Skylar has, in the two last chapters she has been saying she likes to tie up us and do wathever she wants with us, and in this chapter 6 she wants us wearing a dress, only for fun , she has been saying all of those things but for now we could not practice this things with her... I hope the next scene with skylar has some of her kinkies. I like that from her becouse it´s not the vanilla sex, is something that makes special her personality.

Has one of the best romance scenes and love interest (Skylar) among AVN industry. Decent amount of content; story is fairly intriguing, writing is good. Definitely worth your time if you are searching for a new title to play. Personally considered it one of the best titles out there. Keep up the good work, dev.

here's a gallery unlocker, guessing it will work for future updates as well
Does this still work? I've been trying to figure out how to use it but I'm not exactly sure, could you elaborate further? I have been downloading, extracting and putting it into ripples, replacing files in destination but nothing is working.

Love the game but I kinda wish the MC played a bigger part. Half the time it seems the plot happens whether he takes part in it or not. All the important things are being done behind the scenes and when the MC asks about it he gets the good old "I can't tell you now" or "you have to trust me" and the MC's just like "welp, ok" like an obedient puppy
