playb0y44 It is a very rare individual that wakes up one day and says "I'm going to create a visual porn game" and then cranks it out in a very short time. Depending upon how you go about it, creating original models, original sets, animations, a story ... all of these take quite a bit of time. If a developer is extremely detail oriented and wants to create a highly unique game, all of the elements that have to be attended to ... a unique set, tweaking geometries, changing surfaces, camera angles, lighting, etc. take a considerable investment of time.

All of these areas are just for the visuals of a game and speak nothing to the underlying coding and planning of the game, as well as scriptwriting single or even multiple paths.

When you see a game released, that is the tip of the iceberg. It is the end result of a lot of hard work. If the dev says they spent two years on the game, based on my experience playing it, I have absolutely no reason to doubt it.
Thanks for the words. To be honest - I started on another game and made 4 episodes before I decided to quit it and started to make Room for rent in January 2019 with first release in July. It’s true - it’s a hell of a job and the way I’m making the game might be the worse way to do it due to the full rendered high resolution images. Light settings, focus and making sure that everything is in right position is a tough job. In release 10 I have 1.200 new images. I’m sure you know how tough job that has been to create them.

Darn straight! People who have never developed a game have no idea of the minutiae involved and all the details in just a single aspect like wardrobe or lighting, not to mention all the underlying code, writing a story that doesn't sound ridiculous, and the incredible amount of time it takes to render some of those high res scenes, especially the low-light ones. Multiply that by some crazy figure -- say, 1,200 -- and that means many happy hours finding something else to do while your computer is busy rendering. And yes, I would say the time you spent on the earlier game counts towards this one because you used lessons learned in that one to make this one much better.

Exactly -I’m lucky because I have 3 machines rendering 24/7. Players should also know that some images have to be re-rendered. I have 3 pc 2080-Ti for the rendering process that are some of the fastest on the net. Even though it takes at least 1 hour per image.
My work on the first game is not waste at all. When Room for rent is finished - this game will take over. You can find teaser on my Patreon page.

You can only imagine what it's like for me to do it with one computer with a single 760GTX card. Some of my nighttime scenes have taken 3-4 hours, and at that, some of them have had to be re-rendered because of stuff I didn't see beforehand. It makes sense about your first one if you still want to continue the story. I don't think any time spent in the developing / learning process is wasted. It's all an investment in building skills.

I am absolutely lost and asking for help from anyone willing to share it. I have tried following the guide to the best of my ability but I cant for the life of me figure out what to do next. I'm on version 9.0 and I'm on the 5.0 content. I'm at 93/100 so far and nothing I'm doing seems to have any effect. I've gotten as far as Liza allowing me to pull her shirt down all the way in the kitchen without getting embarrassed and Amy is putting my dick in her mouth all the way and then stopping. Everything seems to have grinded to a halt now and I cant figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a walkthrough for v9 somewhere?
You have to contact Bob, I always write the WT but Bob decides when and for which patrons it is posted. I have seen that you are one of the patrons. Thanks for that. Normally everyone gets WT 8_0 the day $5 patron 10_0 is posted (30.04), and the same day Master Patron WT 9_0. The latest version WT 10_0 is reserved for the Gold Patrons.

Actually, I could really use the V8 WT, cause that is where I'm at right now, and thanks bud, I might consider adding another $5 a month, I really like this game, and thanks again for all of your help Lukumoide ;)

If you get problems with 8_0 or 9_0 or 10_0, you can write to me on the Patreon page and I will help you.

I apparently have broken the game in a way nobody else has yet, I've attempted to search the thread for anything related to this bug but have not seen anything so I apologize if I missed it in my search.

I'm stuck on day 15 while using one of the mods it says at the top "Amy: 70" I go through the day following the guide and end up at the end of the day with "Amy: 79". I go to bed at 0:00 and my score goes back to 70. Another oddity is that for Day 15/16 it says to go to Amy's room at 14:00. The amy locator says she is there yet she is nowhere to be found anywhere in the house. I am not sure if I am able to attach my save as this is actually my first post on this site.

Any help would be nice thanks and sorry if I missed the fix in a previous post.

That sounds like Night Trains Walkthrough mod. From what I've been able to figure out, the "Amy: 70" etc are how much Amy likes you or something similar. Not the same as the milestones that are mentioned.

From what I can figure out, it slowly builds over time. By day 30, it'll be way higher than 70 at the start of the day.

Any idea why it resets from 79 to 70 when I sleep? Still not sure how come Amy isn't showing up in her room at 14:00 on day 15 or 16. The guide says for day 16 to knock then stay but she's not there so MC just leaves the room. But even the Amy locator mod says she's suppose to be there tis very confusing. Also how do you get the "events" thing to show up in the top left corner?

So you've already got another game in the works? Does that mean we're nearing the end of this one or just that you're getting ready to work on something else when this one eventually does finish?

Also, thanks for the game. If I could afford it, I'd support you on patreon. I work for minimum wage though. At least I can still afford to wish you luck.
