So the elf said we will leave in two days but I am stuck, she keeps saying we will leave soon despite more than a week passed, I already invited someone to come with us. What am I doing wrong?
I used console to bring myself to day 12 to no avail, she always says there is more time, what gives? Leaving won't start
If you're using the latest version, I believe the time limit got extended to 30 days. Try seeing if waiting until then (and a bit after) triggers the event.
I have not played this, but I hope there is some sort of reminder/auto note system in place for stuff like that at the very least. Players are not gonna remember such things after like, say a month and a half between versions, or just playthroughs.

The journey part is quite interesting, but unfortunately something become broken after a while and when you come to the town you get this error

As this site is used to share games with or without permission (sadly) from the dev, it's a good practice to verify the version we play is from the official release and not from compressed version or any ports. It's always good to download the version from the linked patreon post. The bug mentioned here is a bug from alpha release for the partons for quality check, the bug is fixed in the public beta release.
The dev already did his part to ensure bug free release (as best as he could), but this is clearly from a leaked unofficial release. I know not everyone has the means to be a supporter and can afford to download big files, so any reports about bugs should be, in my opinion be directed to the source of the download.

Yeah .. it is called gaming - you push through and use the Walkthrough from Original Post if needed.
It has long been discussed the fact that gamers need to give themselves more time to actually game.
I think that if you let your hunger and thirst max out and pass out it will trigger the event. After waking back up you just talk to her again and ask her when you are leaving. Unfortunately it is constant errors shortly after leaving though.
You can download the official release from Fushan's post at page 18. The mega link is the same from the patreon page.
Or you can open console and add
define i = Character("[povname]", image="player")
or overwrite options.rpy with the one attached here.
Again, this bug is fixed in v0.3 beta release that Mobum allowed to be shared here.

How do I meet the princess? If it wasn't for the description/title of the game I wouldn't even suspect that there was more to this game then just gradually romancing the girls in the village.
I've finished gathering all the supplies for the winter plus additional supplies, which I just gathered to pass the time. I read the books until the game told me that I couldn't learn anything else. I've gone on a date with Kelly, done sword training a couple times with Marika, and advanced the plot a few times with Helen. I trained as a burglar with Genni. I've mostly just wandered around looking for things to do. I feel like I'm running out of things to do.
The game description seems to imply that I either meet or at least hear something about the princess in the first 2-3 days. I have no idea how many game days I have played at this point but it is probably several weeks. Is there a particular place I need to go or quest I need to complete before I meet the princess?

Go to pond .. you need to go get water from there - your sis kindly tells you in the living room
when she goes to get the water. Go help her, then go check that once in a while
in the afternoon to drink and fill your water skin.

Keep going to pond and be around the hut 4 the 1st 4 days ... it should trigger.
