To my dear supporters.. I'm so sad to announce that the development of Runaway Princess has officially ceased. I cannot share the details but it's about the legal issue in where I live (Porns are prohibited in here, even though it's 21st century). I am so sorry to say that I cannot keep providing updates anymore, and I am really grateful to you at the same time, for supporting my humble game so far. I'm closing down the patreon page too, to avoid any future problems. I really hope I can come back to continue developing this project some day. I hope all the best to you, and I hope you don't get too annoyed or depressed by my decision..

Why does that kind of things often happen to the most promising games. I was curious about this game considering all the good things I heard from several people, but I wonder if it's worth investing in it as of now, I assume I'll end up frustrated when I'll finish the last update knowing that's probably it. At least the dev didn't totally give up, maybe one day.
It reminds me when I learned that the dev of Corruption Time (that everyone loved) probably wouldn't come back. People with potential are unlucky sometimes.

Yeah id still give it a playthrough, it's very enjoyable.

Sorry for being quiet. I don't know much more than everyone else about the situation, so I don't have many details to add. I helped out Mobum a lot with the 0.4 update, mostly regarding writing scenes and pitching ideas. It was a great experience and I love how the scenes we worked on together turned out. For 0.5, my involvement was substantially reduced for a variety of different reasons, the three largest of which are: (a) my IRL job, (b) Mobum had a different writer helping him, and (c) I was trying to focus more on my own projects (some of you know how much of an abysmal failure that turned out to be).

While I helped pitch some ideas and wrote some scenes for 0.5, it was Mobum and the other writer shouldering most of the burden.

I was really bummed when he decided to end the project--IMO, when you take into account the artwork, the story, and the gameplay, it's the best game on the site. Mobum is a genius at both DAZ and Renpy, and I learned a lot from working with him. Also, I felt bad for him because he really loved the project. Ending it had to be a brutal decision, and it's tough when friends have to go through that. Perhaps he can come back someday... I really hope so because he's great at this. But for now, his own legal concerns take priority over my desire to see the project continue.

Same - people had posted stuff about it a page or so back, but they didnt really look like true-to-form replicas.

Shes by far the most attractive in game and Id love to try and recreate her.
