I finally got it to work, by using cheats to make sure no relationship was @ 0 I set Rion and Nora to 30, my Maddie was already maxed - then tried to complete and it worked, so the key must be to have no-one @ 0

Have I somehow ended up on the Evil path (i haven't made a single "evil" choice in the game)? I'm using the Multi-Mod btw.

You have the answer in your post : you used the multi mod.
You probably left some points on other girls which you shouldn't have if you were on Maddie's route. (Like some nora lust for example). Careful with using the multi mod, putting max points on every girl is not the way to go, it won't work as intended.

Anyway, it's just quite frustrating on my part personally as a Rion-centric player that hates NTR or any variety of it that I am now route-locked to only one route, as 2 out of 3 Rion routes are now NTR routes when I was under the impression that NTR would only be minor based on:

The difference is that the first route is the main route and the important one.
If you are worried to get only 33% of Rion's content with the first route, it's not even true in this update as paths 2 and 3 are just a slight variation and it will be even less true in the rest of the game.
I cannot say more, because that will spoil all that is going to happen after, at v0.9 it will be clearer. Maybe my cliffhanger skills for timing the end of update in the most critical moment were a bit exaggerated this time ^^. I always try to let some confusion at the end of an update, that's normal. Maybe a bit too much this time, I don't know, I believe it's natural to have questions and worries, it means you care, and that's nice .

Where I changed my mind a bit on v0.8 is on giving a cross path from lust to corruption, while at first, I was just going for the evil/corruption route as an alternative. You don't imagine how much work it is to manage so many routes, and the complexity to make all the crossing routes still have some sense whatever the options you chose before, especially as it's happening on the same timeline (I understand now, why almost no other developer do that kind of gameplay). So, yeah, sometimes some roamings will feel a bit brutal because what you did before was 1 of the 5 things you could have done before, and that one doesn't fit very well the next event. Yeah, I agree it can happen.

I already have 5 different saves, romance route for Maddie, Nora, Rion, Rion-Nora and a straight evil one, which is already a lot but what's the fuzz about the lust route? Are the choices of not getting NTRd locked out? Because otherwise you can choose the other one. I have to agree though that to make a lust or even corruption route equivalent to an NTR one is a bad choice. Btw how do you get that Nora assrape thing? In my straight evil path MC never catched her, just went to sleep alone in the tent.

Except that I was on the romance path with Rion with 90+ score/not having a threesome with Nora/Romance and Lust at 5 points each but was somehow shown an option for the GB scene. I get it's because my Lust score is at 5 but it only got there when I opted for the longer sex scenes both in the bath and on the oasis (which are only accessible on the romance path but for some reason adds to your lust score), and also to unlock the deep blowjob in the jeep. So yes, NTR can still show up on the romance path.

From the beginning Rion has always been my favorite girl, and this will likely be true till the end of this Episode 1 (assuming the whole cast changes with Episode 2 SnowStorm).

But I'm not gonna lie. In terms of writing of the LIs arc, Nora basically rose up like a dark horse and I do feel her arc has gotten much better than both Rion and Maddie arcs with the v0.7 & v0.8 (even though v0.8 hardly had presence of Nora, I guess it really left me wanting of her character. And now, it feels like she has that more mysterious aura with her. I mean sure, probably not as much as Foxy, but stll considerable).

It hasn't been long since I finished v0.8, but I'm already looking forward to it, heh.

I'm on full Rion romance path with 6 romance point and even though its avoidable it does disturbed me when the option to giveaway Rion to the terrorists for a gangbang exist. If you want to give the NTR crowds something thats is fine but that option shouldn't exist in the first place on the romance route. Why would my MC that currently madly in love with Rion would just give her away like that.

So much whining over a scene that is completely avoidable. Does its mere existence cause you so much existential dread that you cannot stand it? I think fair criticisms for the gangbang scene would be along the lines of 'It came off a bit low effort' or 'the jump from cheating on her boyfriend of however many years for a college crush jumping to a gangbang is a fair leap'. Alright, sure. Those are actual criticisms which you can use to build an argument for why you think something could be improved. Bellyaching over your hand potentially slipping and clicking the NTR option isn't a criticism. In the hotel when you pick the lust path it literally says (sexfriend/NTR), not sure what was expected. If the option being there is such a crisis then maybe just ask for that option to be locked earlier on through a (romance) dialogue option, maybe on the dirt bike on the way. Seems like a lot of extra work for the luxury of a greyed out box, but aside from just getting over it that's the only sensible solution.
