Speaking of abandoned can anyone tell me where the abandoned house where james was killed is at? is it the red building near where orange is at?

How can I finish the rat king quest ? Im stuck with the apartment sewers not knowing the code and in his hideout with the sliding puzzle.

As Aaron mentioned, follow the instructions exactly. I think the correct steps are Walk 1 space down from the flame, walk left to the burned banner, walk 1 space up to the banner, and then all the way down to the statue.
