I had the same issue.. So, i just tried to talk all options with the suspects.. Show all evidences (All in that room near Diane). And it worked. Got 9/9.

Guys I got it, u need to show Sarah 'card' then talk to Cassandra about 'Ito and Clef symbol', otherwise Ito talk option won't shows up.

After that I believe I should be able to start the trial. But everytime I tried to talk to james he gives the same advice. So am I missing something here? How do I start the trial?

Yup. Did that. Still at 6/7. As I said, I'm down to 10 left on the timer cause I went through and talked to everyone and showed everyone all the evidence.

Save it. Then go talk to the cop. The cop will tell you if you have everything or not. The reason for saving before this is cause I believe it takes away a minute from your timer when you talk to her (may be wrong lol). But, saving before you check allows you to go back to the save after finding out where you are at. (that's what I do in most games lol)

What I usually do when a game doesn't work:
drag and drop your saves folder on the desktop.
completely delete the rest of the files.
redownload everything.
Then drag and drop your saves folder back into the new downloaded folder.
If it doesn't work at that point, it's either a corrupt file in your computer's system that won't open the game, or the game itself could actually be corrupt. But, the game worked for me, so try this solution and maybe it will work for you.
