That's is one of the things i was thinking, my opinion is that she would fit very well if this was an ntr game, and i don't think the author is planning make this game an "ntr" game.

I still don't get that. She was a girl that wasn't a virgin, that's it. The MC wrote her as a more experienced woman who was going to rock the MCs world. That was the entire intention. This whole "girl has seen another penis, that's NTR!" crap is so...insecure.

I was critical about how someone can be in love with a guy while dating other guys without not even a little mention how bad were her relationships bc she wasn't moving on from her crush, or how can she be a childhood friend but still act like she isn't very supportive but just...be there at her convenience and in general "feel so absent" by the way the dev wrote about her (i didn't play the new public version yet, I'm busy, so i don't know the new changes and i'm not going to express myself about it until i do)
In general, Kat being a bimbo and acting like an Alpha slut felt incompatible with her loving MC while she had other relationships...probably trying to forget him/move on(?)

Not at all. People are complex. A woman who is in unrequited love might find someone else just to try to make herself feel better, to try to replace the love, to try to move on, or any of a thousand other reasons. If that fails to happen, then she's not a bad person, she's not a whore, she's just in love with someone that doesn't love her back. This "Bimbo" thing is one of the most hypocritical things I've ever seen.

Here's the thing. Her being miserable is probably what would cause her to search out other experiences in the first place. An attempt to supplant, if not fully replace, the feelings she has for someone who doesn't feel the same way she does. So many people on this thread have responded with derision and scorn for a woman who dared be with anyone but the MC, despite what we've been told. It's just sad, really. But, I get it, the only place these people will ever find what they're looking for is in a porn game, because finding a girl that will wait for years for a man to be ready for them, lol, good luck with that.

Of course if the old Kat had tried to simply move on, make a new relation work, or several but failed because she can't get Mc out of her head that would be understandable and fit the background.
But at least, as it was written, she sounded like the town bike, where bimbo was the most fitting term to describe her and that doesn't really go well with the caring childhood friend, which even after 5 years is still in love with Mc, of course opinions may differ.
I don't know if the dev maybe has overshoot there a bit, or if that was intended, i think someone mentioned a theorie that she plays a charcter like one of the MC's porngames to get him, this would have been quite interesting at least.

So what? This double standard on these boards is one of its major standouts. This is a harem game, one in which the MC will actively pursue and successfully nail a lot of girls. But, oh no, a girl did the same thing in per past, time for the insults!

Why is this discussion still alive? Kath was free to do what she wanted after mc didnt reciprocate her feelings and players are free to feel whatever they want about her too. At the end of the day this is a video game made for enjoyment of people. And a lot of people just didnt like her. You can be mad all you want about reasons for some peoples dislike of Kath and lash out on them but there is no point to it at all.

Pretty much what Meridian wrote, it's a erotic game and most people want to have their fantasies here, not equality/fairness, real life problems/logic.
About the new Kat, i think the dev did a good job here to make her more likeable (remove the whole ''bimbo'' vibe), also i think she fits better with the background story.
To remove the ''i love her'' monologue of the MC at the end was also a good thing, that was way too fast considering he wasn't interested in her for 5 years, a bj and a day later he's in love felt off.
Also good move to add more dialogue about being separated from Kat and the MC activly trying to get help from his mother.
Overall the new version makes a really good impression.

Tans, thanks for defending me, really. But let's just leave the mess behind now. Meridian Demoness_Kiss and the others... hopefully will like it as is in the last update (v.02b) and if not, maybe future updates will change that. Despite the way my first ever release went in this thread, I am in good spirits and moving forward with Serenity as I visualized it, only with a slight change in course that isn't hard to implement and at the same time, addresses some concerns. I play these things too and do understand what everyone was trying to say here. I think some got a bit too colorful in their responses but that was yesterday.
If anything, I guess I should rest easy in knowing there was enough passion about my story to cause such a fuss LOL.

i'm a softie, make a romance that makes sense, and i'm okay, MY thing about incest is about unconditional love either as a partner or as a sibling (yep i'm not fond of Mom/son, Dad/Daughter, Uncle/niece and any other where there is a huge age difference) but that aside: love is love, when a relationship is healthy, you'll see me watching the happy couple while i "awww" around them while eating popcorn XD

Thats a bit of a shame since she was very attractive and the whole "eyes up there mister" attitude really hit the spot for me but oh well. I hope rest of female cast will make up for it.

my point is: a creation inspired by a mother is actually the mother(or part of her)? XDXD
Conclusion: in theory, if MC recreates his mother, technically she shouldn't be his real mother(but his daughter XD) but i don't think the MC has ever memorized the DNA of his parent so he could recreate a perfect biological copy of his mommy ... also i don't think DNA works like intended in this Novel-world XD

Fingers crossed for good content then. Whether something is pleasing is a matter of perspective though. Some people will be pleased to see stuff like flashbacks of Mom with Morgan or just rewritten mom getting it on with other women.
