I have been waiting for this game since I've seen the dev mention it in other threads and wondered how good it would actually be. So far I like it and the story seems interesting with a modern medieval theme. My only complaint was the Erin choice as it was presented as a real one but ended up meaning absolutely nothing. Just a peeve of mine. Otherwise for someone just starting out very good opening and I look forward to more of the story. Good luck dev.

Had some help from a few of you pointing out typos and such. I have gone through the current script and corrected everything they found. I also made some minor changes to the relationship section to better define who is who so to speak. I also improved the Menu screens. I was working on my side project on my laptop while my tower is rendering new stuff for Severed. Yes I do have a second game in the works. It's under wraps for now just letting ya all know lol. I can actually do almost everything on my laptop as well. Below is a look at the Menu updates and one of the first of many new renders I have done today. Last one is my little world in my house lmao.

Love the posters on your wall hehe.... Other than some grammar issues (like "girl's" possessive when "girls" plural is what you were looking for, or "where" when you meant "were", etc) it's a really nice first release. Gotta love that classic cliffhanger at the end too Keep up the nice work, I'll be keeping up with this one!

It's a bit... excessively wordy. I don't mean in the "moar porn, I dun read so good" sense either. VNs take a fair bit of effort to actually read. You can't get much text on the screen at once, and a click/press is needed each time you do. You also have the ability to convey information visually, though that's obviously a lot more effort for the dev.
I think this really needs some strong editing and probably a bit of rethinking about how to best convey information in the medium. Ultimately VNs also are pretty well forced to focus on characterization, which also needs to be a major factor in the presentation. But here we're getting a deluge of long (in the sense of the number of scenes/clicks) conversations that are entirely plot focused between characters that are also irrelevant. For example, that whole thing with the Queen after she twisted her ankle. Those smaller details can be amazing when used wisely - which basically means when it's a cute moment between the MC and a LI. They are otherwise kinda torturous when it's just meaningless blather with literally nameless characters.
And I'm usually the guy out there arguing that too many devs skimp far too much on conversations.

SeveredRealms This is a great debut, I love it, there are a few mistakes in the text, but I really liked the story and characters, I'm very glad that MC is a good guy, and pregnancies are planned in the game . I hope there will be weddings, we need all this good and sweet stuff

Pregnancies are a definite and needed part of the game for reasons I wont spoil. I just have to work out how to break the timelines up with a few fast forwards between events without taking away from the story itself... Cause in the end you will not only have women pregnant but children running around. Like what was in Sisterly lust, a huge wedding with all the girls at once, but that was a wedding on the beach and without guests, so it was easier to do it, you can think of something near the forest for a wedding in your game, not necessarily a hall with a bunch of guests, it will be stressful, and for this you need a powerful PC. In MY new family dev plans one wedding for each girl separately, maybe it's easier in terms of rendering

I am actually planning to somewhat follow killer7s lead a little later in the game when it comes to women "outside" the immediate family. Sandra is the ring leader in his game where as Lily and Kahlan will be in mine. They will say such and such wants.... and like killers game you will have a choice to go or not not going locks her out for a while and maybe permanently have not decided on second chances yet.
My pc does ok but its 5 years old at the time a 1070 was the best you could get so i got the best 1070 founder edition lmao. I got a insurance check coming though and I will be upgrading to a 3080ti

As for those saying you cannnnnnnnnntttttt do this with a 1070...... i know how to optimize and overclock shit plus im running all liquid cooled so i can get away with a little more. this is a render time and I just started it and after a denoise it is already ready to use.

I wasnt even intending to have the one scene thats in there happen till a little later. I thought about it when writing the scene and said fuck it I'm gonna throw in X action and went with it. There is other stuff planned including the scene I am working on now.
