I must admit I am pleasently surprised by what I've seen from the vampires, they are eerie and dangerous but at the same time as if there is more complexity to their role in the grand scheme of things, as well as their characters, they seem to be a more nuanced kind of (probably) evil. Also Izabela so far seems surprisingly genuine in regards to actually being after the protagonist specifically instead of just being opportunistic, which of course would have been totally believable with them being villains, not sure if that has to do with choices during the interactions with the Constantins, I really hope that there'll be a somewhat tempered (as far as the protagonist deliberately harming other people goes) way to follow her route and generally allying with the Vampires, but I understand if not. Just saying so far I wouldn't feel weirded out at all if there are nuances to their side of things as well.
The saturday night scene was really well executed & I'm extremely happy that both Anya & Amber made it our alive, despite getting on "good" terms with the Constantins beforehand, very glad that isn't a decision that immediately condemns one of them.
I understand if you don't wanna spoil things, but maybe you could get me a general hint in regards to how to deal with the knowledge gained about the Constantins. They openly reveal themselves as Vampires pretty much immediately & also it seemed as if the leader reacted positive to the protag offering the explanation to his immortality during the meeting. Does that mean the Vampires are okay with or even want that the protagonist talks about them to others?
And as far as Izabela and her identity goes is that a touchy subject/secret the protagonist would be expected to keep least she wishes to draw their ire? I have a very hard time reading them.
