Don't you have to release it as PG then release a patch elsewhere? Similar to how Patreon games release a non-incest version, then an incest patch elsewhere.

Nobody is in a good mood with Patreon. However, they do get too much hate. Yes, their rules are based on what's good for their image, but they actually pay the people using their platform. Over similar sites have gone months without paying people. If you play by Patreon's rules, they're great. I understand why people dislike their rules, but I'm not sure steam would like incest games either. I know they're moving to being more accepting of everything, but all it took was one blog and the r/incest subreddit was killed. I know MyLK isn't an incest game, but that was the rule change that sparked the anti-Patreon view.

I understand your issue and it annoys me too. I think that inactivity should be punished on Patreon. If you don't post anything in a month then your account should automatically be put on hold and stop receiving payments. The main problem is that it works for the shitty devs. Search this forum for popular games with the 'abandoned' tag then go to the game's patreon page, you'll find thousands being pumped into the games months after the last post.
Reddit was fine with r/incest until one blog full of lies spread to mainstream media. There are hundreds of far worse subreddits, but they're fine because they didn't have the fuss of r/incest. The mods there were actually really diligent and it was a fair place to post, not that I ever have done, I just used it for inspiration for ShF's sister mod.
