Last I heard, Kaffekop was recovering from Covid. Working on the game would be the least of his worries and last in priorities. I wouldn't expect any update this year to be honest..I know its only been a couple of months but is there any new news on the next update? LOL, I assume a lot of horny dicks are in a holding pattern!

No, seriously, I think in most of the cases it's just bad writing. In my opinion the story makes the sex stuff much more meaningful and, well, sexy. E.g. if a girl has a complicated back story and a lot of hang-ups about sex, then finally doing it with her is much more meaningful.
My objection to harems is that IRL, it just doesn't work like that. The girls will have an opinion about each others, rivalries and fights will occur etc. I get that this is just a fantasy but on the other hand I find realistic writing generally more appealing. Some games however do manage to hit the sweet spot between harem believability and porn value. Midlife Crisis is presently one of my favourites of that genre.
But yeah for any believable story the women themselves need a personality and some agency as well instead of fully being formed by decisions of MC and an own motivation for why they might want to be in that harem. In way too many games both those things miss. That is one of the great points of this game, that you at least have the idea the women have those things.

I only remember 1 scene that may have been close to that but so far no, at least not yet.
There's one on her path in 0.7 AFAIK and played. You don't get to go all the way though, have to wait for 0.9 as 0.8 won't be focused on her, which is what I remember from the dev.
All my character's are made from the base genesis 3 model. And by all, I mean most. I do believe that three character's are premade, if memory serves me well.
