Last I heard, Kaffekop was recovering from Covid. Working on the game would be the least of his worries and last in priorities. I wouldn't expect any update this year to be honest..

Sorry for the long silence, but I haven't really been up to snuff for a loooong while now. My back really kicked me in the nuts for pushing the release of version 0.7 so hard and I'm still unable to sit at my workstation for any significant time - apart from the fact that I'm doped as hell.
If you remember, I mentioned getting tested for Corona, and that I did not have it. That was a false negative (or positive?) ... anyways, I'm still struggling with the aftermath of having had Corona.
It was not like I was dying or anything that serious, and yet it has proven to be a rather debilitating virus. It doesn't sound like much when I tell you that I'm feeling tired and exhausted 24/7, but that is what I'm contending with at the moment - and has been for quite some time now. Being able to sleep for fourteen hours + a day, doesn't sound too bad, but it actually is.
The worst part is probably that no one can give me a timeline for when this is going to go away. My doc even hinted at it never going away, but I'm not really willing to follow that line of thinking.
I'm afraid that 0.8 is far off at the moment, but don't despair. It will be made and I will try to keep you better informed in the future.
As far as Corona goes ... stay safe! I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I think the things you said just prove how deep and believable the characters in this game are.

In the vast majority of games, the characters just go along with everything the MC wants, resulting in ridiculous harems of cock (the MC's only of course) hungry sluts. Here the chaacters have their own personalities, which admittedly aren't always pretty...

Personally I was surprised that Jo was still a virgin, even with hymen intact, given how free and sexually aware she is. Even though I loved that she still had her hymen, I think that given her character she would at least probably have taken it with a hairbrush or something.

No, seriously, I think in most of the cases it's just bad writing. In my opinion the story makes the sex stuff much more meaningful and, well, sexy. E.g. if a girl has a complicated back story and a lot of hang-ups about sex, then finally doing it with her is much more meaningful.

My objection to harems is that IRL, it just doesn't work like that. The girls will have an opinion about each others, rivalries and fights will occur etc. I get that this is just a fantasy but on the other hand I find realistic writing generally more appealing. Some games however do manage to hit the sweet spot between harem believability and porn value. Midlife Crisis is presently one of my favourites of that genre.

Well that last is actually one of the advantages of an incest line with a harem, it is a bit more believable that the relation between the other women is such they might accept that if write a very loving family. But yeah for any believable story the women themselves need a personality and some agency as well instead of fully being formed by decisions of MC and an own motivation for why they might want to be in that harem. In way too many games both those things miss. That is one of the great points of this game, that you at least have the idea the women have those things.
