Hey, best of luck but, might I inquire about the length / amount of content version 0.33 has? As there is no changelog

Thanks for asking! This is our very first release. It covers the first third of the full game. The demo stops right before the first birth scene, and the current full version ends right after the first birth scene. It's about 1/4 to 1/3 done, hence "v0.33"

I like it despite the poor choice of engine. Some of the more torture-y bits aren't my thing, my favourites are the bits where he forces her to orgasm in spite of herself and the drugs and brain/cunt slugs. Breaking her still, but in a bit of a softer way. Playing the affection scenes he does seem a bit schizophrenic though; like in some of them he's downright kind to her, then five minutes later he's calling her a worthless cunt again. If a 'good' route is planned, I would say that he should be a bit more consistent.

I started this conversation with basically "This model is overused" and "I would like to see more variety in male monsters" and guess what, I still got crap for it. People thought I was attacking their fetish and decided to dogpile on me with comments like "but that's how it's meant to be", completely ignoring the point I was trying to make. One even went so far as to basically tell me to go and look up art of attractive green dudes instead.

I admit I shouldn't have called the dev lazy, after all this is their game and they have no obligation to me whatsoever, but people escalated this by misinterpreting what I said and being needlessly rude and frustrating, and I responded in kind because I got annoyed. I'm sorry. It just find it depressing that the few monsters games that do pop up are almost invariably about tropes and stereotypes I have little interest on.

I know there are hetero women who like ugly dudes but that's not the point...
Your last paragraph makes it look like you're trying to defend or justify your fetish by saying some women like it as well, if so, that indicates you still don't understand what I'm trying to say. I'm not kinkshaming you or saying saying this fetish is bad, so there's no need for you to be on the defensive about it. FFS, this goblin is in Healslut as well and he was the first romantic option I went for (as I said, I have a wide range of preferences when it comes to monsters and his personality made up for his appearance). All I'm saying is that this model is overused and that I would like more variety in monster games. That's all.
Jesus you just keep going. Nobody "gave you crap" initially. Anybody who wants can go read the posts. One dude pointed out the obvious that ugly goblins are what the fetish is all about, one person agreed with you and said ugly goblins weren't his taste, and one person politely suggested you check Rule34 for some art. YOU escalated with the "fuck me for wanting variety I guess" stuff, and kept harping. The dev has even said they'll be looking at implementing different models later. Have you made your point yet?

Great feedback. Thank you! We'll note this - specifically your comment about consistency - to take in mind for a future revision. The complete release (full v1.0) will have the beginning of a "good route" and a "heartless route," for when the story continues. The idea is then to release future games that continue the story but have significantly improved game mechanics.

There are never enough Goblin Breeding Games. I like the trope....but the common theme with the goblin games are either slow production or getting abandoned.

Anyway wish the dev all the luck.

It's visual novel or normal game?
It's a Trainer Game - 2D format, text options, leading to non-animated CGs. The entire "Book 1" of this - the full v1.0 we have planned - will be like that, though we plan future features like animations in the subsequent games.

This game has potential. Good graphics and so far story and writing. However the endless grind is going to kill this really quick.
That was a challenging call we had to make in v0.33 - the pacing of the story. We basically made it so that after selecting 6-8 "Training Activities," the player could "Pass Time." But, you can also do all of the training activities before passing time. And, the text - and some images - of the training activities change based on the Obedience Level. Obedience Level should change about every two "Pass Time" periods.

The idea being, reduce "endless grind" while still giving players options of enjoying all the content of a particular Obedience level. But, we're definitely going to check in on how the audience feels about pacing in a future poll.

For now, we'll probably drop a poll after a week of release or so, and will likely be asking about whether we should do a version of the game with a different PC (female, more-human-looking male) or whether we should have the same MC but with different female NPCs to train and breed.

Given how we be replaying a lot of things, a skip button would be nice.
I think Ctrl is the Skip hotkey.

Also, you needn't necessarily replay. You can do 6 to 8 different Training Activities, then Pass Time. But, yeah, as the one who playtested it, I understand the interest in a Skip key. And, I'm pretty sure it's the Ctrl hot key.

Any chance of turning it into renpy or is there any way to customize the dialogue like with some renpy games? There's a lot of dialogue I'd like to customize for myself to make it fit the setting more and also feel less spam clicky

Thanks! And, we can dream. We started off with financing through Patreon, which frowns upon babies of all kinds being depicted or mentioned.

Perhaps, should we acquire a mobile enough following, we can pull up stakes, go somewhere that allows that content and remaster the game.

Interesting idea! We'll mark it down as a possible entry on the roadmap. As a writer and online roleplayer myself, I can see the appeal of customizing dialog.

I doubt we'd switch to Renpy, though, in that Unity will allow us things like 3D animations and game mechanics in future versions.

I've never seen a 3d game that's worth playing, they always end up being boring tech demos with no story, at that point you might as well just watch regular porn. Prerendered animations are how VNs typically do it. Certainly as of now there isn't anything in the game that couldn't be done in Renpy.

Could just have the dialog as plain text instead of binary so people can change it to whatever. Or go a little further and allow more customization, almost like 'lite' mod support. Games that include modding early on tend to fair rather well as it breeds (pun intended) more community. Unity actually makes that quite easy to do.
