As a creator/author I am also extremely keen to receive honest feedback. Whether negative or positive. Regardless I feel no need to justify my opinion. It is what it is and I'm not here to participate in the endless circus of my opinion is better than your opinion. It's just feedback. Not blanket condemnation of his creative license so don't be so dramatic.

Only his & his patron's opinions matter(Cuz they give him money & thus some sort of expectation).
I say, his opinion should matter the most. Our opinions, as well as Patreons opinions, can give him some feedback and inputs, but for better or worse they should not be able to change a game significant.

I agree, but a lot authors/creators put out polls or what not on the their Patreon sites. Since they are paying customers, who yes are paying for his vision of the story, when these happen their opinions matter over folks on a pirate site.

I love this game very much. The story/setting is awesome. the MC is great I do love rational people. There are two things that I did not enjoy. One is Susan ( I honestly had to skip when she was involved and also considered not recruiting her ).
The second are sex scenes. It feels like they were afterthought? I was seriously.... skipping sex scenes in a 18+ game... that does not happen often for me. You just watch few gifs.. and then its over. I was hoping for some writing... but it never happened.

But all in all thank you, I enjoyed the story a lot!

He wrote a really good story for this one. It's funny, it's a porn game but for once 'i watch porn for the plot' actually holds true haha. Also Susan was well written. She got dealt some really shitty cards in her life so her outlook on life makes perfect sense, as in her general mood being anger, frustration, depression and not a small dose of ptsd due to her wartime activities, but in the end she grew into a really good character. I like this game. His scifi game is not as good as this one was but hey, there's always a next time.

Question. Is the pregnancy content here epilogue only?
Spirit of the Forest/Glade(at least I think that was her name) when you impregnate her the spirit has the child accelerated. I think the births only happen in epilogue however.

If you want to put your opinion in then i would suggest you join Talo's discord as he interacts a lot with everybody on there, whether patrons or not and he understands that a lot of his patrons find his games via sites like this ;)

MC in this game has no emotions, no empathy, no feelings for the well being of others.
MC is of the hard doctrine of reclusive nuns who have foresaken their worldly posessions and former life to dedicate themselves to doing good. They are doing this all for MC and others out of duty, out of feeling they owe to themselves and their Lord to do good by others.

Susan is one entitled army vet who likes to wallow in her perceived PTSD and
all in her head missing limb, seeing as the very cold calculated MC bought her
a state of the art leg with lifetime maintenance and is offering all he has to her
for basically nothing, a job, a lot of money, adventure to last many lifetimes,
MC never asks for anything. Pretty neat being able to provide infinite devotion
and reaping the rewards MC gets in this game, for being a cold heartless pillar of existence.

Writing a story is easy. You start by creating the ending somehow. What is hard is how you begin it. The same goes for characters and their roles, as their role in society defines how the characters are going to meet. The road has been fairly straightforward for most of the characters I've shown. The Naga, however, is giving me some issues. Idealistically I'd like the "main cast" to be introduced early enough so there is time to build their characters properly. However, that might feel rushed if done wrong.

And then there is this. This is kind of today's "daily motivational render" for me. I said it in August. My mind never rests. So I'm always thinking of things, stories, events, things like that. Partially it's the reason I'm writing so far ahead, simply because I have the "material" for it. This particular render resulted from one of the previous progress posts and the short discussion about the "failure" states. It got me thinking of the next VN's MC's youth. And then the thought became how to expose it to you guys and gals. Flashbacks would be an obvious choice, but too many of them and the storytelling of the VN might suffer since not everything from the past is relevant to the present. There is no solution for that at the moment outside of random renders that I might do. Also it's argument about cutting trees, notice the axe on the stone...
1673633269754.png
And then there is this, it's not technically the young MC anymore, mostly because I forgot to make him young. No idea why though. This just popped into my head while I was building one of the sets I needed for TRS2, so I quickly put it together and rendered it while building the set. I have no clue whether this is a true scenario of what happened to the MC in the past. Still, I finally got this particular underwater set tested out.
1673633308851.png
And then we have this... The funny thing is that... the worm is about 7000 meters (4.3 miles) away from the group. So if I ever want to use it, it needs to be scaled down, or I have to get creative with it. Granted, not every threat needs to be taken care of, either. Regardless of the setting, there should be things that even the mightiest heroes couldn't defeat easily or alone. And yes, there is one in Terminus Reach, at least one you've already seen. They just don't come into play in this particular story in any meaningful way. And now, I shall return to finish up the update.
1673633327792.png
And then we return to the fantasy renders, at least this post... One of the, hmm... concerns raised, hah, with what I do is that the MC is over-competent. Sure, however, with the stories I tell, failure conditions mean death more often than not. Thus writing the failures becomes a problem. In interactive media, choices decide it. Wrong choice, and you die. The first TRS was the poster boy of this, something you chose hours ago doomed you right at the end. There are few moments like that in Sorcerer and TRS2, but they are more clearly marked. What will it be in the future? I'm not sure yet. We will see once I write the story. But regardless, the key will be in the choices written.

And yes, I've recently been buying all kinds of monsters that I can use to create things. Perhaps a bit relating to the above point, maybe an obstacle that must be passed somehow.

The mage. Her name is Ayaka. Naming isn't something I really concern myself with too much. Sometimes I know the character's name before I make the character like it was the case with the main character. Sometimes, I don't know it until I write the first line for the character, well main characters have always been named before writing, though. And if it hasn't come up? I just look at name lists, and I know what the name is when I see it. The sole exception to this are titles... I hate making them up. One of the reasons is that you have to do a ton of research to see if someone has used that particular word combination in any work. And let me tell you, even the trusted old method of random words in a hat isn't that reliable method anymore. Ah, well, one day I'll find a combination I like.
1674495478065.png
So I thought about it a bit more, and I might need to do a few more versions of the MC in various ages. And then a caveat of not everything seen is something that will be 100% like that, or even used, as I know how the story in the next one ends. I'd say 75 % of the steps to reach there not everything is set in stone yet. There are variations of how things started and how the past is. So how do I solve that problem? It's simple, I decide how I want to start the story, and everything that has happened before leads to that point.
1674495494251.png
And then, some images are made because I felt like doing them for random reasons. Granted, there is a pile of images that won't see the light of day, so to say, simply because they are just me trying things out, will it work or not can only be seen once you make them at times. No, the last image is known as "how Tomas learned about herbs", not "misunderstand with flowers part 2"...

I hope we get another game similar to Sorcerer. I enjoyed it so much and always anticipated the next update.

Talothral at one point said he was thinking of doing a Sorcerer 2. Or a totally different one from the ones he has now. When he gets around to it.
Mostly that he would do at least one game before returning to the setting, not wanting to burn himself out of the setting. Iirc he might have mentioned in one comment that he had ideas for third setting and would basically alternate between them for as long as he had stories to tell and energy to do those, but my memory is somewhat hazy on those details.

And for the fourth setting and fifth... sixth might be brewing there in the background... It's just a matter of time and keeping the options open. Today's sci-fi, tomorrow's fantasy, the day after tomorrow's urban fantasy... and then what? Post-apocalyptic cyberpunk with magic and mechs? Who knows? We have to see when the time comes.
