Hi,
after cleaning up a bunch of inconsistencies and minor quest issues I packaged Beta1 today.
I still need to do a quick playthrough to catch some overlooked issues before making it available .
Schedule is OK.
- 14.06. Beta
- 18.06. Early Access 1 (VIP Patrons)
- 25.06. Early Access 2 (All-Access Patrons)
- 02.07. Official Patreon Release (depending on EA feedback)

V0.6 Public Release (one day early)!
Haven't figured out the "Self Update Promotion" process, so I reported it normally and it might take a while to show up in "Latest Updates". See OP for download links.
Note: Multiverse Pod is now managed and maintained in the save games folder (Users/yourID/Appdata/Roaming/...) automatically (only copy it there once if you come from V0.5 and want to import your bots & gear)
This post is just a heads-up.

I had understood v0.5 saves would be compatible this time. Much as I like this game having to start from the beginning each time even with the.json file has become too big a chore. Maybe once there are more updates I might try again. Just wanted to make the point that it gets more of an issue each update to restart and repeat a whole load of content each time.

Different strokes for different folks. I'm the opposite. I didn't have any interest in his last game but I really enjoy this one.

Looks like there is option to skip a lot of stuff with "new game", try it out.

The location in V0.6+ is now the proper folder (where your renpy saves are in)
That prevents OS access protection errors.
Will automatically be found there in future.
Just move the pod file once manually to that folder ("Users/yourID/AppData/Roaming/Renpy/SpaceJourneyX...
Unfortunately, that isn't a location on my computer, I have the users/myid part but no the rest.

Especially if you've ever played any Ren'py game before. And by your post count, that seems... likely.
Look again, and once you find it... here's a trick every gamer should know:
Shortcut that folder to your desktop for easy access next time.
Whenever you're looking for save files, it's usually somewhere in AppData.

Yeah, not sure why it seems to be intentionally hard to find.
But that's why I suggest short-cutting it to desktop (once you've found it
)
