No... Why the fuck should I suggest that for?!
It's an excellent point. With a smaller amount of slaves, the interface works well. But when you start to scale, it becomes a little more cumbersome. I'm hoping Stationmasterdev is looking into this for the next version. I have a few suggestions that could help.
if you use the mega app the limit doesn't matters, it will stop when you reach the limit but will continue where it left off after 4hours or so (works even if you shut down/ rest your pc)
You can close the galaxy menu while your fleet is flying to conquer a system. And just moving around the galaxy to target a system really doesn't take that long. As you progress, you get technology that makes your fleets move faster too.
On the first page, there is a link to Stationmasterdev's Patreon. He is documenting is current status and progress.
It unlocks certain events that some people may find too extreme. A particular event I recall involves a choice to "vivisect" a victim.
