I saw there was a new (or at least I don't remember it) walkthrough option, which is a great inclusion, so I decided to start over as I wasn't sure what consequences some of my earlier decisions had so figured I'd do a couple new clean run throughs. I noticed a couple other improvements on the way, being able to play the ghost bit in a VN mode - which was infinitely preferable, and being able to skip that bit where he's stuck on the phone for forever, which was a previous gripe I had with repeated playthroughs. (though I still get a red dot on the phone/messages at one point when there's nothing there though and it doesn't ever go away)
One weird thing is I was first doing a slave runthrough so avoided any romance stuff... but then I noticed the saves started to be automatically labelled with Cas romance, even though nothing had happened with her, and I'd even turned down her GF choice bit 'I'll have time for you' because it said it closed the slave route (though honestly I think that needs to be changed or reworded as I'd never have thought entering into a FwB thing cancelled out a slave route as both are compatible with a sex crazed MC)...
I went through doing some quicksaves to narrow it down, it's after you preview the basement as soon as you go to the dorm where there's Sasha and Hikari on the couch suddenly it think you're on the Cas romance... dunno if it's a bug or not, if I'm actually stuck on the romance route or the others just haven't started and it's defaulted to that... I noticed later on it had "friends with benefits" on her status page where Riley's said Slave stuff.
Oh and also I noticed with Sasha it says it closes the slave route if you decide to keep up the ghost hunting, which is a bit of a shame, but I guess that's what separate saves are for...
I don't suppose you know where the red dot thing starts, do you? I've heard this one more or less since 0.1, but I've never been able to reproduce it myself. I wanna get that sorted. I've fixed the Cassie romance thing, though unfortunately due to the logic in the game there's no real way to have the game work out whether you should have her on the romance route at that point. However, if you enable the console and run the command CassieGF = False then that should fix it. (The save labels update upon load so you'd need to save after you run the command)
Important to note though that Cassie's gym scene is not supposed to happen unless you're on Cassie's Romance route, so if you said yes to the threesome thing in that scene if it asked you, then using the console to take Cassie off the Romance route could cause further bugs in future.
Also yeah, most of the girls stories are at least partially externally driven, so would happen even without the player's intervention. Sasha's story is not like that, and slave MC would have no interest in risking his life for some stupid ghost hunts. That's the reason it gets disabled there, there's just no motivation to continue the story when Sasha's on slave route. Still works on sub route though, since there is affection there.
As for the graphical bug you got, do you have the save file for that? I couldn't reproduce it.

Before I say anything else, I will admit that I am specifically interested in the Submission routes mostly, maybe except for Olivia. That broad definitely needs to be put in her place. Anyway, so far I've only followed the Submission routes, so any comments will be written from that perspective.
I like the balance between romance and kink, it's something I don't see too often, as most devs go either too vanilla, with only an occasional spanking/bondage session here and there, without portraying the actual D/s aspect of the relationship, or on the opposite end, the girl is treated as a fuckhole during the H scenes, so you don't feel the affection/passion between the two, particularly on the Dom's side. I don't know how the Submission route will turn out in the future, but I definitely like what I am seeing so far. I also applaud and respect the usage of aftercare in your narrative. I think we definitely need more of that under the BDSM tag.
Proper Hepburn transcription is also appreciated - it shows attention to details, which is definitely a plus.
Some jokes... I feel like they shouldn't have made me laugh as hard as they did. Honestly, they were pretty bad - I blame my broken sense of humour, I guess.
One thing I would disagree with on a design level, is the fact that you are presenting thoughts of characters other than the MC, especially in the scenes from MC's perspective. AFAIK, narrative-wise it's not good to be jumping perspectives like that, since you are kind of removing tension by unintentionally making the MC omniscient (yes, I know that he does not actually hear those thoughts, but as a reader, you don't register that, and you just subconsciously treat it as if MC knows what other characters are thinking).
I was kind of curious about how accurate your Japanese was, but making it immediately disappear like that may have been low-key genius, since it looks good, conveys the point across, and you kind of don't have to care about whether it's perfect, since normally nobody will be able to read it, so it eliminates the problem of nitpicking dicks like me, who get annoyed at this sort of thing.
Overall, I will keep an eye on this one. If Stormside continues this way, I feel like it might scratch my itch for what I call "wholesome degeneracy".

Hah, thanks man, glad you like it except the thoughts thing. With the thoughts thing I likely have a similar opinion to you when it comes to other games, though only in scenes where it's told from MC's perspective. I can't really remember why I did that. Oh well. However when it comes to most uses of it it's primarily so that in sex scenes where the girl can't talk the player still has something to read, and in scenes where it's just the girl on their own it's for the same reason. I didn't want girls narrating to themselves like weirdos while they're alone.

Can confirm what longjohngold said, tried to avoid a Cassie romance path but at the point he mentioned my saves now tell me I am romancing her.
Fantastic update and I totally love the game so far. Though a very minor thing, I really love the (often silly) small animations, like the way the two fangirls hug Olivia and then her eyebrows start twitching, fantastic. Generally, all the little details are great and make the game come alive. The auto-translation of foreign languages, when another girl adds something to what the first girl said, the way Akemi sits down on the bed, not even an animation, just shaking the screen slightly. I hope Atemsiel has as much fun creating these little details as I have when playing the game.

I can confirm that I have a lot of fun doing all those dumb little animations. In fact, it's probably my favourite part of the process. I just really like doing things that aren't technically necessary, mainly because I got tired of games that appeared to only do what was technically necessary. Stuff like the sex stats, the little animations, the fact that Cassie uses British English spelling while all the other characters use American, MC's initials appearing on a character's ass for one of the pictures according to the name the player actually used, etc..

I noticed an issue with the Phone App displaying past information, not sure if this has been brought up or not.
Day 3 Evening, you can get a Blowjob from Cassie. The phone app will show that she has given 0 Blowjobs even if she has to you.

Just wow! Amazing game so far. All the characters are so well written and likeable, and the sex scenes are treated with such care and consent; it's all just such a breath of fresh air. As someone who is really into the whole BDSM kink, I haven't even tried to go that route because I'm floored by how good the writing is for the romance paths. Great game! I definitely will be keeping up with this one and leaving a review once I fully complete it

Do you have the save file? Just based on this error, I can't tell exactly what the issue is unless it's related to the spanish translation that the traceback seems to mention.
