Does Olivia have to be "broken" for there to be a change in character later on?

Maybe you (MC) can just convince her through various means to not act like a huge bitch anymore. Maybe the change is something she sees as being to her benefit eventually and not some trauma unpacking at all.

I think trying to lean into or avoid specific tropes makes the issue more complicated than it has to be.

yeahhh, it just seemed super short, and thought the game had been out for some time. So i was a bit confused since i also saw some preview pics on here that i didn't see within my own gameplay, though now i can guess why thinking back on my choices

I honestly don't think Olivia follows the "broken bitch" pattern, Since we already have Akemi for that, somewhat. I do believe tho that our goal still will be to soften her up regardless, but in a more babysitter-esc, "Lemme be your mentor, cause yo daddy don't teach you shit" sorta way. All the story cues point to that too, The talk with her dad, the cutscene with her old friends from Regi, and the Fight with Akemi. In essence, her character I feel was built from the ground up to be a parallel to Akemi (and by extension Hikari kinda) in many ways. I don't believe Akemi is a one-dimensional character and I'm more than willing to give the womanchild the benefit of the doubt.

The only pattern for Olivia is being a utter cock sleeve on the slave because fuck it, girl needs to learn some serious manners. Even if her romance or sub arc ends up being good, which I might try, I'm naturally gonna hold a grudge on her for the foreseeable and want to see her as a broken toy.

I got stuck on 28th June, I've tried messageCount = 1 in the console, didn't work. I tried it via URM and still nothing happens when it's set to 1? What's *supposed* to happen when the scene plays out properly? I'm just standing in blinding light with some people far ahead and a red blinking light on the phone(which I already hate this early in the game). I don't get it? I've clicked on *everything* on the phone, is there a hidden pixel I need to find on the screen to perhaps move the character?

It's supposed to advance after you read the text from your dad.

Whilst I'll have a "relatively" good guy playthrough as well, when a villian, I embrace it, and sorry to break it to you fellow F95 denizens, but if we enslave even a single girl, we are not the good guy in this story. We are the villain. Don't kid yourself that an MC on that route is any better than the two other candidates that we beat for the magistrate job.

I submit to y'all then that when you are a bad guy, a virtue signalling partner is annoying AF. Think Kay Adams Corleone (The Godfather 2), Carmelo Soprano (The Sopranos) etc. Far better the stuck up blonde bitch. Whilst Angel may pine for Buffy, in the sadistic Angelus persona there could hardly be a more ideal match than Darla. Stuck up blonde Bonnie Parker's mean streak is precisely why she is the perfect partner for Clyde Barrow. Heck, come to think of it, Olivia kinda even looks a bit like Faye Dunaway in the old Bonnie and Clyde movie!


So I'm fine with Olivia the way she is and don't want her to change either. She can remain a bitch as long as she's the MC's bitch.

I am at the first sandbox ghost part, and I find that the torch is misaligned to my cursor (highlighted in yellow)
Is there a fix for this?

Edit: I also found that in VN mode the torch is also too much to the left, like the image above

Theres no ETA for this title. Atemsiel normally announces an update on his DC server, but there is no such thing as a release date.

There's usually a general indication on patreon and substar, but it's almost always wrong because I never have any idea how long it's actually gonna take me to make stuff. The general indication this time has turned out to be pretty off, so I'll probably have to post about that later today or tomorrow, but oh well. If anyone doubts that 0.23.2 is being worked on, I present the following.


(I haven't compressed it yet or done the sprite crunch. The filesize will be reduced dramatically for the actual release. It's a larger update than the last one.)

All of the "director commentary" on my choices is extremely annoying and 100% brings me out of the game. Plus the 0.22 bug thing.

These plus it seems like the game is headed into "literally everyone is fucking everyone, so you might as well jump on in the cum pool, you fucking degenerate". Not really my thing.

But at least the animations and girls are attractive. You've done some work on HS2, though some of the models are more default than others.

Not sure I wanna give this a serious rating/review since I stopped playing when the brit girl asks you if she can fuck other girls.

I'm aware the option to say no exists, and I'm not butthurt about it. I just have seen where games that do this eventually go, and that's not really to my taste. Hence why I literally said "Not really my thing."

My preferred route is to not have any kind of relationship with her. For my part, she can maintain her untouchable status because I'm not at all interested in punishing her (neither her nor any of the other LIs). I also have no intention of establishing a romantic relationship with her.

In fact, removing Akemi and Olivia's non-punishable status can only get me scenes with them that I don't want. And since I don't want those scenes, I consider that maintaining that status is fine and makes everything easier.

you have stopped the game during the intro... i don't think you actually know where this all goes, and even if you did, you didn't need to come here and announce all that. you could just move on to the next game that could be "your thing".
