In fairness a lot of members of f95 sub to games. We just like to try before we buy and a lot of creators are grifters. ICSTOR pulled off a major grift. 100s of thousand of dollars for doing nothing for 3 years. I hate the patreon model to be honest.
Yeah, and I get that. There's probably a number of people who are subbed and are here but I doubt it's very high. Especially for this game, considering it doesn't leak till the lower tiers anyways. But if you are paying and are unhappy, just unsub. There's nothing stopping you from not giving the dev money.

In all fairness before we got Patreon Porn games of Western creators were an extreme rarety and sadly mostly of low quality.
While Patreon might not be perfect it allowed for this niche market to kick of and offer us a wide variety of high quality games.
I'll give you ICStor as the prime example of a bad Dev but to generalize and calling every dev a scam like him is unfair aswell, not to mention giving part of the fault to Patreon as the service provider to finance these normally shunned projects.

I said "a lot of creators" which is true. There are tons on the take. Learn reading comprehension. "A lot" does not equate to "all".

Guys its not a first update. It always was like this, stay calm. https://attachments.f95zone.to/2022/08/2000862_1660215438111.png
It means wait a few days or another week. Its ok.
May be i`m wrong but i thought he wrote few months ago about getting more free time and updates will be more frequently or i just understand it wrong?
Hello there, dear mate.

No, you aren't.
But, truth to be told now, at the same time we should have to consider - I guess - that he's doing all the job alone (with no help from any other dev. else, I mean) still and he happened to find (and fix, consequently) a stubborn unprecedented series of bugs and issues in this last update, as he fairly warned all his patreons, in advance and almost step-by step.

This apart from the usual consideration for all us members/users of these forums: we all are taking advantage of getting what he is producing without paying him any fee for - so patience should be ought to him in return from us, or so I think about at least.

Just my one own cent here, and nothing more, please let me be crystal clear here.

With best regards.

3 weeks ago the developer posted that the game is almost done and would be released soon. At that time the progress update was stuck at 85%, Today the progress is still stuck at 85%?. HOW/WHY is it so hard to stick to a time frame or at least update the progress bar. I was a paid subscriber to this game in the past but I will never make that mistake again.
The developer posted another update saying the game would be released on Aug 11th but today is the 13th and if you look at the Patreon page is says stuck at 85% still. Why does anyone believe this developer. He fails again and again to keep his word.

Hi patrons!

I wanted to tell you that I am still working on the bugs that I have registered, It's taking longer than expected, but I will keep you updated on the progress in the comments down below this post.

Today I had to redo part of the code of the new scenario because it was generating some problems and could not be solved in another way.

I'll remain working hard so that you can have the version as soon as possible

Best regards!

Keep milking the cow
Based on past updates, I really don't think this dev is a milker. If I were to take a guess, I'd say he's a self-taught and/or novice coder and is running into issues with modularity, scalability, testability, etc. This is why it takes longer and longer to fix bugs, and it only gets worse as complexity increases, as most sandbox games do.

Nevertheless, even as a self-taught dev, you should be able to tell whether an update will be ready "at the end of the week" or whether it will take at least 1 month longer. This month imo has less to do with bugs than other things that the dev just blames on bugs. And he was silent for 2 weeks after revealing the release date too!
Bug-fixing shouldn't take 5 weeks or more.
It would be best if he didn't give a date to disappoint waiting (and paying) fans and communicate better with them.

I agree that he should be able to tell, but being in the software industry for 30+ years, this is literally textbook behavior of novice software developers.

That's it... but actually here is the last word he told in order of time to keep informed:

" Bug fix progress update of Aug 15: 90% Complete ".

With best regards to all.

Addicts get grumpy without their fix.
How do you know who's paying and who isn't? Their complaints are totally TOTALLY legit. Totally, in case you missed it homie. These "developers" are in the habit of milking the monthly subscriber income for all it's worth. There's no excuse for the delays of this magnitude. I have to hand it to them. They've become well versed in how to hustle money out of guys. Its deserving of some measure of admiration.
