Well, I bought it as well, but did so with open eyes, just as I do with any early access game I bought. You can't expect the full experience, it's just a taste. How the full game end up down the road is what matters.
Sometimes curiosity gets the better out of you, at least in my case.

Who knows what happened next. I can just wait for a dev diary to come out sooner or later.

Yeah because running an ACTUAL game studio, and hire actual game devs to your team, cost nothing right? Soooo much money right? Fast forward a couple years with salaries, running costs etc, and you will find it's not that much at all. If you feel like digging ditches for buck a hour, I'm sure you will find a lot of work..
Star Citizen should hire you to write excuses.
They gathered money on KS to make a porn game. They are selling it on Steam like a porn game. But its not a porn game. Its a mediocre game with 2sec sex loops in darkest corner of your cabin.

The problem not the quantity of the content but the quality. Subverse is a porn game where the porn aspect is the weakest part. Sex scenes lack any context or interactivity, you don't have lewd dialogs or much interactions with girls. It's almost as game tries to be a Mass Effect instead of a porn game with porn being just a bonus in a separate mode. No amount of content will fix it unless they'll change their approach.
Where on steam does it say its a "PORN game"?

"A sexy new sci-fi parody where you command your own starship filled with the hottest babes in the galaxy, who are ready to bring your fantasies to life in fully animated love scenes!"

If you take a gander at the games steam page... whatever they try sell you, is on full display in the description. If people jump on the bandwagon and ride the hype to the level you blue balling yourself. That is on you dude.

Guys, if you want to make game easier or get acces to some things faster (like sex scenes), just edit the savefile located in "Users\AppData\Local\Subverse\Saved\SaveGames" (personally I used this editor: ) and then just change desired PP, credits, bio, tech or any other values to smth like "999999". Then replace the save file with the one you made and enjoy! NOTE: I do not know which of the values refer to what "waifu" and what they mean exactly, so modify them at your own risk! Also, I only got the robot chick and the doc unlocked, so I could only edit records for these two, and if you have access to the devil pirate lady, you propably can edit records for her too.

So its sexy new sci-fi parody with porn that's not part of the game. Right. Sounds completely normal to people with severe brain damage.

This game gave Cyberpunk 2077 flashback. Big budget and highly ambitious only to ends (or start) with a wimp.

For me knowing how game development works; I'm pessimistic about the future of this game. The foundation is there's, so for this game to win people's expectations means a huge overhaul, which means more time and money. After two years of development the and only thing they get right is the jiggle physics. What a waste.

They advertise this game as "Mass Effect," right? what synonymous with Mass Effect? A greate RPG, yes. Choice, choice, and role had thrown out of the window. No integration with H-scene and the story. It's 1/4 baked XCOM with H-Scene gifs as a side dish.

Just browse "Subverse" at rule34hentai you'll have a better experience.

Also on steam page :

"SUBVERSE contains fully 3D-animated, explicit sex scenes hand-crafted by a team of degenerate neckbeards. Please be warned that a standing crew of gorgeous women are ready to bring your fetishes to life, and that all scenes are accompanied by pleasure-filled lewd moans performed by highly talented voice actresses.

There is also cuddling in this game. If such lewd acts are offensive to you then you should avoid installing this game at all costs. Seriously, don't do it.
"

Also :

" Tired of crappy, low effort hentai games? Then enter the Subverse – an old school PC gaming experience developed from the ground up for the discerning adult by a team of filthy apex perverts. "

TECHNICALLY, no "porn game" is not written. But from above description, I'm sorry, all of that point of a porn game.

if possible could you find someone to crack it for the high teir kickstarter exclusives? they include a bunch more sceans and extras.
Wait, wait. Are you telling me that in current release there is extra scenes that are not available to anyone but high tier backer ? I can understand that for a full game, but cockblocking half the content knowing people will judge you based on publicly available content ? That doesn't make any goddamn sense.

Some dude in San Diego edited the "Subverse" Wikipedia page to include user reviews of this thread as a source (Why? Also just make an account, everyone can see your IP address lol) .

Also the major differences between Star Citizen and Subverse is the latter actually got released and is not in an 8-9 development hell like the former. With a significantly smaller budget (comparatively) and smaller dev time. Quality is inconsistent in the current game but hey, I actually got to play the game so that's something

Also everyone is blowing everything out of proportion, either taking things too literal or making it out to be more than it actually is. Feels like scrolling down YouTube comments in this thread. Probably not gonna visit again for a while.

Before I go, there is no hidden content. What you see in the game now is what's available. The high tier backer thing is Studio69 DLC which isn't even released yet to said backers plus IIRC has no sex scenes/animations. Meant to be a "hang-out" DLC.

Mind if I chime in with my 2 cents? I was the person who was excited for this because I thought that this could mean potential for porn games to go mainstream. I was concerned that porn aspect might overtake the gameplay aspect but, ironically enough, I feel like it is the porn aspects that are the weakest. Gameplay was fine enough, not that amazing but not bad: it is the sex scenes that were...eh? Models are good, duh, but the sex scenes are just there and are afraid averae-ish? There are some interesting stuff with robot girl but, past that, average things you come to expect. I do think that the game has a chance of getting better as time goes on (though, releasing full would've been better) but it also has as much of a chance to get worse.

Thanks. The game and FOW official replies have such a weird logic that above hypothesis seems like totally possible.

I actually think a full release would have been worse. at least now they will be aware of the issues, and hopefully rectify the godawful sex scenes.

One of the advantages of early access, you still in a stage where critics and feedback still can alter the future of the game. Where a game that get released as full have a much harder time to recover. Only a very few games managed to do that, such as "No man sky".

Unfortunatley, their replies om Steam seems to indicate that they are NOT willing to listen to feedback. Also, as pointed out couple of pages ago - the skeleton of the game is already there. Integrating sex into story would mean a complete overhaul. Not gonna happen, unless they magically find a competent development manager and increase productivity 5x.

Oh, no, I get that 100%. I am saying that, in the ideal world, they would've been able to release a good game in one go. But, seeing this early access and what kind of content they have, it is good that they decided to release it like this. Though, I will be honest, it shouldn't take one a lot of brainpower to come to a conclusion that those scenes weren't the best, especially since they were kinda into making porn animations. With that being said, their porn animations, often, were fairly average in its content too.

Is Cyberpunk a porn game? How about Dragons Age series, Mass Effect series. The Witcher series? Due to "adult content" found in these games? Or are they games with adult content in them?
I'll use Witcher 3, the sexual content is hardly advertised, it merely there's adult content. The steam page describes more about good story, about the kickass hunter you control etc.

What about Subverse?

1st description :

A sexy new sci-fi parody where you command your own starship filled with the hottest babes in the galaxy, who are ready to bring your fantasies to life in fully animated love scenes
Emphasize on "hot babes" that can bring you "fantaisies to life in fully animated love scenes"

2nd description :

SUBVERSE contains fully 3D-animated, explicit sex scenes hand-crafted by a team of degenerate neckbeards. Please be warned that a standing crew of gorgeous women are ready to bring your fetishes to life, and that all scenes are accompanied by pleasure-filled lewd moans performed by highly talented voice actresses.

Even more information about adult content, as if it's the main attraction of the product.

3rd description :

Tired of crappy, low effort hentai games? Then enter the Subverse – an old school PC gaming experience developed from the ground up for the discerning adult by a team of filthy apex perverts.
They are still speaking of porn stuff. They really want you to know there's porn. Before even game content is mentioned, they want you to know babes are gonna get fucked

Then later it does speak some gameplay, about turn based combat, your spaceship is your HQ. But that doesn't last long and talks about hot babes and sexual scenes.

Are you being obtuse to not understand sex is the selling point of Subverse?
