IG88a resorted to derogatory term on Germans now?

What you expected or wanted or the level of your own hype you bought into doesn't really mean much does it? You just come across as awful entitled.

It is envisioned as a way to democratise payment in the adult space, since most payment processors are not exactly friendly to our field. FOWcoin is a project by adult artists aimed at supporting adult artists and their communities and it will remain so.
That's a pretty fantastic idea, it would solve the problem of payment processors refusing to do business with companies like MindGeek.
It's not a perfect solution, but there isn't one is there? It's not like governments are planning to reign in the power of the financial sector (assuming the payment processors aren't doing the bidding of governments already.)

I dare say some payment processors hold more power than many countries out there. Sad aint it...

You being a racist? Yeah you can be that towards Germans too you know..
I'm touched you care so much about my hekkin kraut feelirinos, really I do. :HideThePain:

"The game is bad and should be fixed" being your definition of "entitlement" these long months I'm sure if that's the real Tibor he's fucking horrified at how much bad PR and missed sales you've caused him since the game dropped. If they actually are trying to make inroads into their target communities, you'd do a lot for them by not undermining it.

Going by your narrative. Every game on this site is bad and need fixed. Everyone want something from them that it doesn't deliver for them. You want Pandora to be something they didn't deliver. Fair enough, but that is your wants vs their creation. Pandora is a minor thing in the game as whole. They could have ripped the entire thing out and still it would been a playable game for adults. I don't really care much about the scenes in Pandora, the story and the characters in the game does.

You and like minded people is all about the porn, you care nothing about the game as whole which really is reflected by your focus on Pandora. I doubt you even played it through and paid attention to the story so far...

They simply don't have the resources, as even if they had the money they don't have the time, to make anything currently in pandora part of a coherent, impactful, erotic narrative. They never matted out how variants would function to cover the transition from mantics to the player to robots to random zombies to etc. Even if they established rules for pandora (scenes only can involve one category, one mantic and/or character) it would still be too much to handle. The VA footprint alone would be equal to the rest of the current game and only balloon with every additional scene.

Beyond scrapping literally everything they've designed (common theme really) and making a smaller subset of scenes narratively integrated and truly optional, they don't have a direction to just make the pandora system "better." They already tried with the descriptions, the laziest way to provide context (that undermines the pandora scene knitting... oops) to "improve" the system, and now it's worse than
Overall brutal, which is good lmao. I just wanted to highlight that “They simply don't have the resources, as even if they had the money they don't have the time, to make anything currently in pandora part of a coherent, impactful, erotic narrative.” Is extra scathing because the kickstarted netted them 2 million dollars, which I think spent around 1-2 years developing the EA, which net then more money and then they spent another 7 months and here we are.
They essentially had all the time and money in the world, but this is still what ended up happening.
I can’t wait for mantic recolors that are supposed to be their evolutions, and for them to get their own scenes that are identical to the old ones just to inflate the scene number count.

Seriously, the actual gameplay itself is mediocre, which is putting it nicely.

We're well on our way to that sadly. If that really is you Tibor, take note we do want subverse to actually improve. Tough love and all that.

There is a pro consumer way to frame the reuse of assets, in this case it would be to say that the animation library will be universal and you can play any scene with any similar character. (And implement it on release, don't add reskins after the fact as if it takes any effort when your competitors give this implicitly.)

FOW went the scamdev way of claiming '50 new scenes" when almost half of them are reskins of the same rigged animation, and many of them are from the previous build like the consentacles. Only adding to the hilarity is the fact actual direct competitors are adding this amount of content (as better, longer, better integrated animation) per release while keeping to a ~1-2 month release cycle.

Same applies to the photo mode, which gives different names to the same set of poses of each girl. You can PR talk your way out it being lazy if you pretend it's pro consumer, but you can't dig yourself out of the hole of pissing on your backers and calling it rain.

In that regard they didn't really set out to re-invent the wheel. Shoot em ups is in thousands out there, same with games with tactical grid combat at a variety of quality. Grid combat didn't start or end with xcom, and shoot em up games didn't end with Space invaders either. Oh, and majority of the games on this site is mediocre at best. Should fit right in then.

Hey funny enough I actually agree with you on that last point.
I will say this, I preface my expectations on a game based on what they market, their budget, and their team size. One person working on a game on top of a job and working out of pocket doesn't compare to a full team with millions of dollars and years of full time development time.

I've heard from people toying around with people who hacked the game to move around the camera during pandora scenes say that the animations are clipped and more poorly made than expected, which will probably be why on top of reusing the same scenes, you can't even look at them from a different angle, despite being fully 3D. I am continually baffled at how a team who specialized in this, decided to half-ass their speciality to go ahead and make an asteroids/x-com clone. Clearly what all their fans wanted to see.

Actually if you check the rankings over adult creators on Patreon there is those that make major bank. Like Wild Life pulling like 1.2+ mill USD a year on Patreon. And even with that just launched their kickstarter. Not all the creators is "poor Oliver in the basment".... Money isn't any other measure than success of the creator. It is not the deciding factor how the creator will make use of them. Some will just remain who they are and do their thing and keep fill up their bank account, others might rise to the challenge and become something more.

People hacked Cyberpunk to make it 3rd person view.. Guess how the animations looked?

cyberpunk3p.jpg

They are making these scenes the way they want you to experience and watch them. You can check with a lot of games out there in this regard. If they wanted you to have free camera control it would been included already right?

So... Subverse the former and wildlife the latter? :HideThePain:

And somehow it's not a problem for other liverendered porn games.
Yet again you keep comparing Subverse to other failures yet it never sinks in what that means.

When you grow up, reach adulthood and maybe get a job, have to set out on your own. You will learn the meaning of paying bills and cost of living...

Your definition of failures is a peculiar one..

And yet again, you fail to understand the simple concept of how the creators want you to experience something, and how you as a user want to experience it differs. Their creation vs your wants... Just because you desire something doesn't put them in the wrong.

There is actually a preview of an evolution in one of their blogs. Can't really blow up the image unfortunately, but looks like a pretty natural evolution.
