The game isn't good. So nothing was elevated, it was just used to mask a bad game. And -2 iqs ate it up cause shiny graphics are shiny.So you agree with me. Thank you for your input.
And its not even shiny graphics since its all just prerendered movies. Its not like you can actually run around the ship in 3rd person.

When localizing a game properly that also includes getting voice actors in that language. If they aren't going to bother with new voice actors, tf they spend so much on voice actors in the first place? Clearly its not important enough to localize that aspect.
whaaat, i don't agree with that statement. how many AAA games have only voice overs in english and as localization for other languages just translated UI and subtitles. this is just a common practice in this industry. Why bother with hiring more voice actors which usually are worst than english ones when you can translate the game with subtitles without any loss on overall quality or perception by the end user. You don't consider it as "localizing a game properly"?

Where can I find the save for the non- 4k cracked version? (not on steam) And where do I put it?
In the 4k version, the save is stored in C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Local\Subverse\Saved\SaveGames;
To use it, you must change the SubverseSaveGame001 file to SubverseSaveGame001.sav

Hey At least they were correct in calling themselves the first AAA adult game. Continuing the grand trend of triple A games being hot garbage the last couple of years.

It will sound wild, but Subverse...
Began before this trend really picked up steam, IMO. And that's not a compliment, given it took them forever to achieve the current kinda let-down-ish results.

How much tame do you guys think they made the game to fit steam's lil glovebox?
Always liked fow for their extreme shit so was really hyped about the game untill I played it.

It was always said to be a vanilla game, ergo safe. they didn't want to chance it being a dark non-con type and chance getting it removed. Given this was their sole focus and product, was better to play it safe.
They did commission some non-canon darker doujinshi as a milestone goal. One of them's by the great Butcha-U
