As far as I can tell, this is in an edited variant of Twine, though it certainly looks and works a lot better than nearly every other game made in it (especially all those shitty "we stole real porn and embedded the GIFs" games.)

It is indeed a modified version of Twine. Specifically, I've modified the SugarCube engine and a tool called Tweego, which lets you work with text files instead of the Twine program, to meet my specific needs. That said, as I've gotten more familiar with Twine, I think many of my modifications were unnecessary, and I'd bet you could make something pretty similar to Succubus Stories, with some small compromises here and there, without all the modifications I made, so definitely check it out if you want to make something like this game.

TL;DR: It is the way it is to avoid removing content as you progress. I want perk progression to always add and never permanently remove content, so I don't have a good way to handle perks that should logically remove content right now.

Wow, honesty wins the day! I think it could be seen [rp-ed] as an inner struggle (that she is obviously losing) between her Succubus identity and the remains of her humanity. If you think about it, hardly anyone is a linear path to be ever followed and never deviated from; unless they are incredibly single-minded.

You could side-step the whole "cum" issue by simply having sexual energy be the source of nurishment. So all sex goes. Orgasm = food.

That said, I see a futa tag. How much? Player turn futa or runs into futas an milkes them?

Not sure what cum issue you're referring to. It's not really an issue AFAIK, it's just how the game is. You can also feed off of certain other bodily fluids later in the game, like breast milk, with specific traits. The focus on bodily fluids is intentional and while I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, it is what it is. Orgasms are important too as the player character also has to manage her lust separately from her hunger.

Futa content revolves around "futa potions" which you can learn how to make in a request early on, maybe like ~10 minutes in. They're pretty cheap too. You can then use them on female NPCs or on yourself before certain scenes. The effect ends after the scene ends, so you can't permanently be a futanari.

Small suggestion: make it so you can have more than 3 actions a day. Maybe 3 actions per time period would work better.

Are the points refunded?

Changes to the game state are only finalized when a new passage is shown, i.e. after you click a link to do something, go somewhere, or continue with a scene. This can lead to some oddness, like if you mess around in a menu, then save and quit, things will be reset to the way they were the last time a passage was shown. I suspect this is probably the issue.

I just started playing the game, I'm a little bit into the prologue so my experience probably isn't the most representative of the whole game yet but personally, the game does feel kind of fast-paced. Not the pacing of the story itself but the fact that you only take three actions per day makes it seem like the PC's life is going super fast imo. Things like taking a bath or going for a walk taking up a whole third of the day sorta weirds me out and lessens the immersion. All of this is my own opinion of course and I'll probably get used to it as I play more, but for now it seems odd.

Also something to note: the Futanari toggle in the content shield doesn't specify whether the toggle is to turn the content on or off. I'd assume moving the toggle to "on" hides the content, since that's what it does for the rest, but the description doesn't specify like it does with the others. Same for the Auto-initiated sex content.

Edit: I've played a decent chunk more of the game, and I am sincerely enjoying it. it's a very well-done game. That being said, the progression for perks also feels a bit... off. I've been playing things rather slowly, feeling out the character development, so it's a bit of a surprise to me that my character went from blowing guys in a secluded spot in a back alley to suddenly not caring in the slightest about fucking a guy in full view of everyone. I've barely touched the exhibitionist content because I wanted to maintain a decent reputation (at least for now) but apparently my character no longer cares despite having very limited experience with exhibitionism? Have I been getting points towards the exhib perks without realizing it, or is it linear progession that I unlock those perks simply by having sex with people? It sucks that I accidentally saved over it and so now my character is just a blatant whore before I was ready to develop her that far.

Again, I really am enjoying the game, and I don't want you to feel like I'm attacking you or anything. You do fantastic work. I'm just trying to provide some honest, direct feedback. Maybe I'm just not playing the game the way you intended.

Why even quote me for this? There are plenty of games that have succubi with varying power sets you can go play. They're not real, let me interpret them how I want.

They dont die,I played it already they just cum.They dont even mention feeling weaker,I also cant kill them.Not real succubus.
