you can flirt with everyone but you cant end up with everyone (So far), most likely everyone will have an independent ending with the mc
Independent ending sure but you can't have multiple encounters with all the girls? At some point in the story you have to choose one I assume?

I do remember the dev saying Bree and Sophie like to share, so sounds like you can get those 2 and lets be honest, that is all that matters.
Indeed...

But... why do I feel like that response was tongue-in-cheek and this is what he was referring to?

I also doubt he would have revealed such a major thing so eagerly because of how tight-lipped the devs are on other, broader questions:

Of course, if the dev wishes to make an official statement clarifying this matter, please don't leave us hanging. ;)

Personally, I would be surprised if Sophie were okay with sharing the MC, seeing how she's just 19 but already looking for someone to settle down with and start a family. I feel that getting close to both her and Bree would put strain on their friendship when things start getting serious rather than push them into sharing him.

Then there's Eve who acts salty if you hang out with the other girls and also straight-up says that some girls are not into sharing.

Okay, but maybe Mia would be open to it, then?

Overall, I get the impression that the main girls' paths will be mutually exclusive and you will have to choose one in the end. While this is an adult game and the side characters act very porny, the main cast's relationship development seems to follow a much more grounded, romance-focused trajectory.

That doesn't mean there can't be threesome scenes with them, the devs are surely well aware of the high expectations for some three-way fun with Sophie and Bree (and the game does have the 'group sex' tag planned) so they will probably aim to deliver just that, even if it's just a dream sequence... I just have a hard time seeing an ending with both of them.

Anyway, that's just my take. Time will tell what they have planned for our lovelies. I'm a strictly monogamous, mushy kind of guy anyway, so I'll be giving my attention to just one of them... at a time. ;)

I guess that would sort of work.

But seriously, this needs a better writer
If I remember correctly, we're attending a summer art school and one of the first things we do after the little questionnaire is workout? Renders are beautiful. The production value is clearly very high and being a porn game, both the dev wants to show off the interests and the player wants to see them, but there's better ways to approach it.

No one showed up, the art teachers aren't there, and the hot dogs were left out. The plans fell apart. The teachers left are panicking looking to keep them occupied ("working out") while they figure out how to change gears to accommodate what's left of the camp and its limited resources. I think the story is fine, it's just that players are expecting tropes that aren't materializing the way they expect them to.

Yea that might be on me cuz "No one showed up, the art teachers aren't there," did not come through at all or I straight do not remember that (Yet did remember the hotdogs and it did nothing plot wise for me). So far it's coming off as super porn tropey. Example is, if they are planning to lean into their horror tag. The pieces for that already needs to be part of the interaction with the cop and the hotdog fetch quest. Instead we just got lustful stares from everyone as part of the 'sexual tension.'

You know what's funny?

There are games that have been out for years and have enough content for us to come to this conclusion whether the story is good or bad, and despite having super cringy stories, some people still call them "Masterprise."

But this one has been out for almost a year with roughly 2 hours and half of length from start to finish, and some folks are saying the story is nonsensical.

Well...

See you on Friday, and hopefully until then, the trolls are gone.
Commentators do not have to be trolls to have an opinion that is radically different from the opinion of the majority. Personally, I really like the game, but I don’t consider those who write something contrary to my thoughts to be moral freaks. We are not discussing global and serious things here. It's just entertainment.

Correction on the writing. It's not 'bad'. Moreso just responding to the bad writing sentiment and can see where it's coming from. I think the writing is very very average to a lot of the works on the site. I'm 100% fine with tropes as long as that is what the dev wants as well. Original writing is a myth.

Litmus test for me:
Characters: If you completely remove how they look, can you explain them and have others instantly know who you are describing?
My first thoughts are the childhood shy friend and the goth chick. Can't describe the 'redhead' from her friend

Plot: If you were reading the VN without pictures, would you wanna keep reading? (With the core understanding, that yes you will miss some context without the images.)

I still give a ton of props for the effort the devs are putting in and the product. I just want the community to grow and improve each others view, cause the end results increases everyone's enjoyment.

It's not nonsensical, it's nonexistent for now. So far the mystery has barely been set up, so it absolutely needs more time to cook before it can be properly critisized.
The slow progression isn't necessarily a bad thing, because it's probably slowed down by the attention to detail, which is this game's biggest strength. What I'm more concerned about is player expectation. Because the game in it's current form gets a lot of praise and support, but the game in its current form consists of nothing more than hot women ogling the PC and the PC ogling back.
So what happens if all the jokes about the horror tag weren't that ironic after all? What if the players played a lighthearted waifu simulator for a year and then suddenly one update more of the story gets revealed?
