I hope we see them in WIAB... I have many unanswered question about Nojiko... If we say that Willy is the father of SG MC (everybody say Nika, but they don't call him so in they game, so I refuse to call him so), how the hell did he end in Nojiko's house? If he was a child without mother (we don't know who is her mother, we know his parents died, but we don't even know if that's true...) they could be in prison, we know only what we see from both stories. Means, his (SG MC) parents are alive in WIAB... Nojiko is probably they friend or something, there is no way he would end up in Nojiko's house otherwise... Especially if he has his roots in Zane family..

About 20 years apart between WIAB and SG seems about right, based on appearances and offspring ages.

Besides Katie, you can also see how Emilio has aged, as well as Stefan Holgerson.
And Stefan has that 18 year old kid now, Nika's schoolmate Mario.

Nah but being serious now the connection between Wiab and SG is fantastic. Maybe he is working in two games because that, maybe he wants people make theories about the connections between both games.

We know the gap in time as Ocean has said it was 20 years. Even if we didn't have Ocean's timeline, or he changed it, we have to have enough time for Ayua to be a Zane baby from inception (no Zane is pregnant in WiaB) to college age. We've established this, and will probably have to keep passing the info down through the thread for people who can't find the dev logs buried between talk about video cards Based on 20 years, Amber is going to get pregnant with Bella soon in Wiab's time.

Regards the presence of characters earlier, it is most likely we'll see them as easter eggs if they're not directly relevant ie Amber might not be there as a part of the plot in WiaB, but she might be there as a side character dancing at Leia's nightclub, or having drinks with friends at the bar etc. Or she might be a later part of the story, where we see her meet Mr Von Halen, who knows?

One thought I have is that some of the book clubs members might be ex working girls from Leia's club, and that might include Noji. We don't know anything for certain about what Katie's interest in Nika and Nami is, only that Noji has been going to the same bookclub with Katie and Leia for years as well as working with Scarlet. We might discover her connection to Leia runs deep in WiaB, but it'll be a while before we know anything like that, Ocean won't spoiler SG with WiaB and vice versa. The reason I think this is an interesting avenue for thought is when we saw Emilio in WiaB, suddenly we have all kinds of new potential plots or angles appear, and certain things seem more plausible (still creeped out by Desiree creeping through the college in the background).

Something about Marla - I think if we see her in WiaB, it'll explain why Nika is 'part of her problems'. She might have been a bystander during some of the events, maybe she saw what happened to the Cyrus's.

Finding these things out is impossible though, just like we never expected Emilio in WiaB, even if they appear, Ocean loves misdirection.

100% agree. But also consider that WiaB Emilio doesn't have tatts and SG Emilio having tatts might mean jail time.

Nika's conception might occur prior to the events that lead to Emilio's time in prison, and the pregnancy might have all happened and the CYrus's car crash done before he gets out. He might be Leia's right hand in WiaB, but that doesn't mean he's the spymaster. He might be the fresh faced apprentice, and he fall from that position leads him to become involved with the gangs (gang tatts instead of prison maybe?) and then develops his information network.

Remember how he says Bella reminds him of someone? The fact that Katie and Leia both go to the book club in recent history, but Emilio is reminiscing might mean he's no longer on the Zane's side, but is an independant now, on the outside.

Regards parentage, I'm leaning to the idea that we will meet Nika's parents, but just like Emilio's appearance in WiaB was unforeseen, the Cyrus's will also be a surprise.

If it's about shielding Nika from the Zane's, Noji is doing a superbly bad job of shielding Nika and Nami. Nika is going to college with a Z, a P and an R. Noji socialises with the Zanes still (the book club), she mentions it to Nika and Nami, but implies it's something recent rather than for years. She's keeping the dynamic completely hidden, but the socialising implies there is no need to isolate them. Katie can bump into Nika whenever she wants, so maybe there is some form of asserting dominance over Noji but doing what she did? Letting Noji know that it's futile to try to stop the ZPR juggernaut? We still don't know their interest in Nika, parentage aside.

I'm reminded of Stefan saying he doesn't know any Cyrus - if he's expanded the family business and runs a newspaper (and is the reporter's boss maybe?) this implies he doesn't know anything newsworthy about the Cyrus's, which implies either what happened was buried, or they were completely normal.

For whatever reason, my post didn't post, I had some thoughts about that exact thing.

Given Emilio's background, what he discovers from his deep-dive into Nika's past will be interesting, even if he was not party to anything relevant back in the day. Of course, it's all up to Ocean how this does or does not play out. Emilio could conceivably uncover the Mother Lode/Holy Grail but not divulge any of it to Nika [i.e. us, the players].

So, when Nika next meets Emilio (and it was supposed to be during the same weekend where season 1 finishes), what occurs will be fascinating one way or another.
